Ok I've seen a few members here using Youtube's (and other site's) videos in their sigs, but seeing as picture sizes are limited to 40K, videos are waaaaay over that, and for me at least make the page load real slow.

So whats the final word from Ryan and the Mods on videos in sigs?

We are currently discussing this right now actually.

Someone also had Flash and they were told it wasn't permitted, so I highly doubt videos will be as well.

I just wanna know if we can put requests in our sigs for any stuff we might be looking for.

I suppose that should be okay, after all, you are making a general request for information, and anything that comes from it is through personal correspondance between you and that person.

But then I think of the Carbomya forum...

And not being a person of any kind of authority, I should be ignored for legal resons. But that's just my opinion.

As for vids in sigs, I find them funny. But if they slow things down, and are over the size limit, then they should go.

idk i just hope they fix the avatar size limit
