I just got into collecting TFs, and saw the announcement about BotCon. What goes on at BotCon? I'm thinking about going, but I don't really know what it's all about and if it would be worth the expense.

Usually?

Buy some toys, eat some food, drink some drink, punch a hooker, chill with friends, and have coffee with David Kaye.

That's just my experience though.

Is there a lot of good stuff to buy there? Is it like a TF flea market? Can you find good stuff and/or get good deals, or is it just a lot of expensive and rare collectors items? Is there enough to keep a casual collector entertained for a day?

Just about everything you could ever want is for sale at Botcon every year.

There is also a wide selection of rare/common, expensive/cheap stuff.

I don't know...David does like his Tim Hortons coffee. And there was one near the convention centre in Providence. Who know? Maybe he did.

You're missing the point.

See, he believe that I punched a hooker, but is doubtful on the coffee with Kaye thing...

It's comedy gold! Not only that, but a testament to my character as a person. :)

You actually did her a favor. "Gum-jobs" aren't cheap these days ...

Thanks to the reset, I can now go back in time and find these great posts that I missed.
