After seeing TMNT me and my bro went by the 24 hour Walmart. He picked up Black Spidey, the good posable Venom, Harry and Sandman. Pretty nice figures I must say.

I noticed that all of the Mega Blocks sets have two versions of the Spider-Man figures in 'em. Sold seperately, of course. Neither was short-packed so I guess they're trying to double their sales.

I absolutely hate that Villian Movie Goblin...Actually I dislike most of the figures from that line. Why you ask? Because almost all of those characters have been released in other lines already with better posability to boot!

Can't argue that. But I do think that the super-poseable Spideys and Venoms are completely worth it. And Sandman is actually pretty fun. I still don't know what it is that I like about the Green Goblin...maybe the fact that his helmet is not removeable, and the face doesn't look as robotic as the previous releases. Still not bad for the 4in scale.

I looked all over for that too, I didn't find it. It was the only one I thought was worthy of my money.

I went out today to see these new Spider-Man figures. How disappointing. What's with the smaller scale? Leave it to Hasbro to f**k up something simple. (And charge more for them in the process!) Guess I'll just have to find a spare Toy Biz movie Spider-Man and make my own movie symbiote SM.

I wonder if the Hasbro Fantastic Four movie figures will also be in a smaller scale?

The spidey figs are somewhat scale with the Doctor Who figs! You could have venom vs Daleks!

Hahaha... man, you are reading my mind! I was pondering this after I posted here. I was even thinking about bringing in my 10th Doctor figure to a store and sizing him up with the SM3 figures. I'd rather see someone's pics of Doctor Who figures next to the SM3 figures, though.

Not completely sure on this, but I think that the reason these figs are so small is because they are going to be releasing the normal sized ones in the Marvel Legends line, like the X3 movie figs now appearing in the line. Just Hasbro trying to get you to pay twice for the same figure.
Anyways, I only picked up the Walmart exclusive Spidey, the rest really did impress me that much.

I already posted this in the toy haul topic. But it applies to this as well, so...
I broke down and bought the Spider-Man 3 super posable versions of symbiote Spider-Man and Venom. I think they were on sale at Walmart for $7.88. (Plus discount, so I could justify it...) They're pretty much in scale with the Character Options Doctor Who figures, though. The SM3 figures are alright, certainly not as good as they should be, especially in comparison to the first two movie figure lines. But if the real super articulated versions are coming out in Marvel Legends, well... I guess I'll regret buying these? Haha. I hate that the Venom has wrist swivels, but no ankle or bicep artic. Likewise, Spidey has wrist pivots but no wrist swivels. Anyways. Enjoy some pics:
