Juuuuust short I'd say of topping the original movie from 1990. I haven't had that much fun watching a movie in....Forever. I felt like I was 6 years old again. Excellent voice acting and everyone fit their part well. The CGI is easily the best in an animated movie. It literally beats the Hell out of the Incredibles when it comes to visuals. It also helps that the story is pretty good if not a bit jumpy.
Loved it and I suggest others go see it. Make it #1 at the box office this weekend!!!

Saw the last showing(9:35). The movie kicked so much ass. I really don't want to see a live action Turtles movie after this one.
I can't wait for the obvious sequel either.
The only bad things about the movie I found, were the Jersey Devil magically being captured even though the story said he was the last.
That and I didn't get my dream of seeing the Turtles and the Foot fight side by side.
Other than that, perfect movie.

Me too, except substitute "sister" with "girl I have a date with that doesn't know we're going to see TMNT yet".

This one would be 4, actually, since I heard that it loosely follows the movie continuity. Even so, I believe they were trying to make this one stand on its own.

Only the first one and elements of the second.

Went to see it last night with my cousin and my bro.
I must say, I was quite pleased.
Kinda disappointed Shredder wasn't in it, but, since it wouldn't fit for the story, it's excusable.

Saw the original, and it kicked so much ass. The actor who played Casey Jones was badass as well. Didn't see the 2nd or 3rd movie, but hope I can see this one.

I just picked up the set of all three orginal movies at Wal-Mart this past week. I think I am going to watch them all back to back today.

My girlfriend and I are going to see the movie tomorrow. I can't wait to see it, especially the Leo vs. Raph fight. My two favorite Turtles squaring off on the silver screen... what's not to love?

Oh you'll definitely love it. That fight seriously made the movie.

When Splinter is looking at his shelf of things he's collected from their past adventures, the time scepter from the third movie is sitting on the bottom shelf and a set of the armor worn by the Turtles is hanging from a post.

Ah, nice. The third movie was on TV today. It was better than I remember it being.

This movie was better than I expected it to be. I liked it waaay more than TMNT3, but I still love #2 the most. However, I liked the references made to 2 & 3 at the end, what w/Shredder's Helmet, the TGRI cannister, & the Time Sceptor. Loved that. But I can't help but worry about what Karai said to the Turtles at the end........I'll just have to wait & see!

I want to ask without looking at posts before this, since I want to know if I should see it or not.
Q: If I have no knowledge of new situations, allies, enemies from the modern TMNT shows, will that hinder the enjoyment of watching this film?

The only new character that isn't really explained in the movie is Karai. I'll answer what isn't said in the movie for you. She is Oroku Saki's (The Shredder) daughter and she now leads the Foot.
Now that you're up to speed everything else will either be explained to you during the movie or you'll already know.

Did anybody pick up the prequel comics released this past wednesday? I think two (Raphael and Michealangelo) were released with three more on the way. I saw the movie a few hours ago and I loved it! I was just wondering if the comics were worth reading.

I feel like a kid again with all the Turtle stuff. I am seriously thinking about picking up the old cartoon DVD sets.

Pick up the 2003 sets. You'll be happier.
