Why is you username what it is? Whay did you name youself what you did?

I love Sonic games....so....yeah...

I like Beowulf, and a couple people have taken to calling me that in real life

Despite popular beliefs, I'm not named after a MegaMan character, nor a similarly anmed action-game star.

I just thought Shadowman sounded cool.

I owe my name to The Canterberry Tales. No, seriously! In my High School Senior class, we were assigned little groups, and we had to act out a small scene from the Canterberry tales. My group got the story where the king had donkey ears, and hid it from everyone. When his wife found out, she had to tell someone, so she told the river.

I chose to add some kind of third character to act as an intermediary conflict, and I always liked the term "Duke". So, I then took the first four letters of my last name, and boom, the Duke of Luns was born.

Well, afterwards some guys kept calling me "Duke of Luns", and thus, it has stuck ever since. I quite like my persona.

Venomous Prime was inspired by my love of evil versions of characters and of course Venom from Spider-Man, the greatest anti-hero of all time.

I picked mine completely at random. No forethought was put into it at all.

Eventually, I shall use it as the name for a fan character I'm working on.

It means I did your mom.

I like Ultra Magnus, and he was a general under Shockwave´s command in the Dreamwave comics.

Mine is an RP character that I play who was named by Sunstar. I usually go by Phoenix or Skywarp but both were taken here and when I joined I was avoiding a stalker.

Not a reference to the Autobot Matrix nor the eponymous movies, actually. I chose it when I was younger, meaning to to be something similar to a source of knowledge or even a 'route of all things'.

I picked the sin that best represents me.

My name is just a joke I came up with. I really liked the Beast Wars Locust transformer but I didn't want to be named Scourge (RiD was on and it was used plenty already). After much thought and some jokes on an image of the toy, I decided to make him a clown. Hence, "The Happy Locust"

A Mega Man fan character from my youth I made into a TF fan character. It was a play on the word Dynamic.

My other Web name, Guyver Ultima (now homaged in HMW), is a nod to my liking the anime Guyver and the Ultima is a nod to the spell of the same name from Final fantsy, one of my other favourite games.

For me, I was just thinking of something badass for a computer game I was playing, and the thought of desolation incarnate seemed rather appealing, but that was taken, so I misspelled it with an "a" and added "Reborn" since "incarnate" was too big.

Of course, if you ask me now, I'll say it is reflective of the fufillment of the first 2 of 3 steps on the path to the Ubermensch, representative of the strength created from destroying every perspective and ideal one's ever known to both dwell on and overcome the moral nothingness created in rebuilding the tenants of the self according to one's personal whim...

Though, I'll bet someone a cookie, one day I'll change the 'a' to an 'o' and no one will notice.

To be truthful it has nothing to do with Shrek or any baked person. WWF. Perry Saturn was going through a crazy phase in his storyline. He ran into the ring with the Dudleys and shouted "GET THE MUFFINNNNSSS"! I found it hilarious and originally went by GetTheMuffins on gamefaqs on the Smackdown boards. Then after I got out of wrestling I shortened it to TheMuffin.
