Moderation at the new Transtopia?

This post isn't meant to trash anyone. I just needed to put my thoughts to words.
I was just wondering if we are going to have some ground rules and enforcement at the new Transtopia. When the merger was announced, I wasn't worried about the quality of the job Seibertron was going to do. I was pretty sure there would be benefits to having our hobby featured on the front page. There is a "but", however. The thing that worried me most is the apparent lack of discipline and respect some people display when posting there.
Transtopia as it stands is still my favorite place to chat about TF customs and TFs in general. The reason being that this forum seems to be a community of respect. When someone comments, there is rarely the feeling of "gushing" or "venom". Just fellow customizers and their fans discussing their projects. I can't really say that when I read a post in the customizing forum at Seibertron.
First issue that jumped right out at me is the apparent lack of language filter. Here people post without cussing back and forth. Each time I visit the Energon Pub there is at least one post where someone is posting in a crude and often not PG-13 manner. I'm no prude by any means, but swearing at each other is no way to foster respect.
Most recently there has been a topic that seems to bring out even more venom throughout the kitbasher's section. I'm avoiding saying what the topic is because this is simply not the place to beat that dead horse. Even when a topic starter has to unfortunately ask that the "haters" not post in his thread, they still stomp right in and start it again. This is a blatant show of disrespect for the thread starter and fellow customizers in general. It's almost a challenge to get the other side to make a rebuttle. That kind of attitude shouldn't be there from either side of the issue.
IMO, part of this continued goading and snide remarks are a direct result of too many visitors and not enough enforcement. The more visitors you have, the tougher you have to be to maintain a respectful community. Transtopia either has a stricter code of ethics than the Energon Pub or we've just grown accustomed to behaving. Somehow I feel if Seibertron is going to be our new home, that the behavior we've grown to expect will need to be outlined and enforced. If not, we are likely to lose some good people. I'd hate to see that. That's not good for Transtopia, and not good for the TF customizing community.
