Cool, there are alot more neat movies coming out next year than I thought. I figured it would be a slow year...
The Dark Knight is the year's big one for me. Wall-E is another to look forward too (gotta love Pixar and their perfect track record, though it will be almost impossible to top Ratatouille).
Also look out for Iron Man, Horton Hears a Who, Hellboy II and Cloverfield!

After watching some of the trailers
it looks like it will be a sucky year for
movies.
I was hoping 10000 B.C. would be an updated version
of the awesomest movie about that time period 'Caveman'.
It's not
Iron Man looks worse than Daredevil
At least Kung Fu Panda looks good.
Thanks for the heads up.

Another Hulk?
So they're going to keep continuing the Chronicles of Narnia?
Is Star Trek going to be based on the original characters?
Besides those, I've heard about and want to see:
Indiana Jones
Cloverfield
Bolt(maybe)
WALL*E sounds dumb.

It's not really "another", it's more of a "first".
Basically they realised how bad the first one was and are having another go. This new one isn't connected in anyway to Ang Lee's.

Yup. It's a prequel to TOS, with new actors. But it's apparently going to be largely flashbacks, because Leonard Nimoy is signed on (Him and the guy who played Sylar in Heroes are both supposed o be Spock), and they're looking for a way to get William Shatner to join in.

I'm waiting for Be Kind, Rewind. Screw all the blockbusters. That Ghostbusters theme song scene was priceless. Heh. Yeah, I'm a Jack Black fan.

Wall-E looks adorable. Ironman looks somewhat watchable, maybe. Batman looks great. Pass on Narnia. Horton Hears a Who looks painfully unfunny.

I think I'm the only one that thinks the Joker looks like a cheap, two-dollar whore who can't apply lipstick. Yeah, he's messed up, but at least get the lipstick straight.
When is Day of the Dead coming out? It looks pretty cheaply made, but I want to see it for what it's worth.

I'd rent it (the Poughkeepsie one). It looked cool, but lower on my watch list than others. And nowadays, who has the money for everything? What's IAL?

"i am legend"
i think the new joker looks GREAT. if you don't like the "warpaint " look, it is rumored that his face gets messed up later in the movie to become a true joker. have you seen the new trailer? after seeing that, i strongly believe that ledger will be the best joker ever:grin:

I saw the trailer. Anyway, I just... get comically disgusted by him. heheheh. He's like a visual version of nails on a chalkboard. It's really nothing against the filmmakers, and shouldn't detract from the movie. But I think the clean Joker a la Nicholson look is better, IMHO. But I'm not a fan of Batman comics, so I don't know which version is truer.
