Does anyone remember Dark Tower by MB! It was way ahead of its time. You had to travel around 4 kingdoms and acquire 3 keys to gain access to the Dark Tower and defeat the Brigans! On the way you could acquire gold to purchase warriors, food, beasts, scouts, and healers! Warriors to fight the brigans, Beasts to carry your gold, Scouts so you would'nt get lost and Healers to cure the plague! You could also gain a Wizard through battles to curse the other players! And you could also gain a magic sword through battles to slay the Dragon! Oh! and i forgot you could gain a Pegasus to cross into the next kingdom after you acquired the key. There were three keys Brass, Silver and Gold. You had to put them in a specific order to gain access into the Tower! This was all done by the Towers computer chip! It came out between "80-83" I believe.

When I first saw this I was thinking that maybe they made a board game from Stephen King's book series The Dark Tower.

But no, I've yet to hear of this game.

Thank God! I thought i was alone out here!

I vaguely remember wanting that game when I was little. I thought it was like Dungeons and Dragons for some reason.

Only played it once... by myself. It was well made and could be played with only one person too. There's a on-line flash version up somewhere...

BTW, the game came out in 1981.
