OK I watched "I an Legend" yesterday and while I thought it wasn't as good as I had hoped, those Zombie things kinda sucked, I noticed something really interesting in it- advertising!
As Will goes on the hunt, we see a big ass poster near posters from theaters advertising products and theater plays, amongst them is a very very big poster with the Superman S on the batman symbol!
At first I went like WTF?!, then I remembered that Warner, that made I am Legend, also holds the rights to both Batman and Superman, does this mean we'll be getting a Superman Batman movie in 2009?
That would be kinda cool.

Even though I despise Superman... I'd have to say he'd easily kick Batman's ass.

IF it were to occur it wouldn't be "Batman -vs- Superman". They'd be working together.

DC/WB are always throwing up plans for what DC characters to use. The Wonder Woman movie has been in development for ages, then there's the Justice League idea floating around.

So I wouldn't read too much into that poster.

It must be... I can't even fathom how it would be possible. Oh wait, Batman might have some Kryptonite in his utility belt, next to his Shark Repellent Spray.

Actually he has a nice little ring made out of Kryptonite that Superman gave him "just in case"

I don't know if the Batman/Superman poster was for the Justice League movie or not. There was something on tv today or yesterday talking about the future of the Justice League movie not going so well. The producers appear to dislike the actors already chosen for rolls, and with the strike, they can't get updated script changes.

Overall, I think we won't see this for a long time.

As fun as it is to speculate, I take that simply to be a joke by the director to keep us talking.

I doubt so.

There's not gonna be a crossover movie so soon, especially since Batman and Superman Movie franchises were just rebooted.

Ok I got a few replies now, yea I also thought it's kinda strange to even put it there, but I found something on the www that states that the Batman Superman movie is still being considered!
And I choose 2009 since that was the year in which the outbreake was, could be 2010 or something though, since all you could see on it was the two symbols an a dark background.

According to some article I read awhile ago. The Batman vs Superman poster was just a joke. He had posters of movies that could have been out at that time in the movie. The Batman vs Superman movie was a movie that was going to come out awhile ago, but was canceled.

Apparently in the video store you can see a poster for a Green Lantern movie that came out.

You know what else would be cool. If say in like TF 4 or 5( I hope they make that many) They bring in Cobra Commander as Terrorist who captures one of the Transformers. Just like in the G1 episode "Only Human". Then they could make that G.I. Joe connection, And then that could segway into G.I.Joe Movies like they had originally planned.

In Dark Knight Returns, Batman fights Superman. And that's only part of it. Unless they made a movie out of that story, it would be lame.

That's just an internet urban legend. The last half dozen times the two have fought Superman has beaten him with ease. Two of those times Batman had the powers of a villain who normally gives Superman a fare amount of trouble (Kryptonite man and Blackrock).

Two of those times Batman would of died without super advanced alien technology to help heal.

Batmans best non frank miller showing against Superman was in hush where Superman was activly resisting the mind control to stop himself hurting Batman and Batman still would of been Killed if Catwoman hadn't taken Lois hostage.

I've been keeping tabs on this. There are written scripts, but nothing was taken seriously yet. The most recent word is that WB wants to get at least 1 more Supes movie out before they consider making a Batman/Superman.

There is also talk of a Flash movie, for a LOOONG ass time now. Wonder Woman movie, too. The thing with WW, is that there are casting problems. I think they just about have sealed Jessica Biel in for the JL movie. They're waiting around to see how the JL casting works out ... before doing their individual thing.

Crossovers are a big problem. They don't know if Christial Bale will do the crossover, nor can they be certain Brandon Routh will. Routh has stated that he's totally on board, but you never know what will happen to his ego after another Supes movie.

Hollywood sucks! Maybe after all of the ego trippin, we'll get some of these movies out!

Actually, for the Justice LEague movie, Christian Bale said he wouldn't be Batman if Christopher Nolan wasn't directing the film.

I can't find the article on it, but it was over on superherohype when I saw it. I'll keep looking.

actually they were gonna have 3 no name actors play bats,superman,and ww but it looks like the movie will be on hold for a while. hopefully it'll never be made cause it was looking to be a total trainwreck/typical hollywood **** up.
