can i use an avatar from photobucket?

You may have to resize it though.

how do i resize?

You click on the pic you want to resize, and on the top menu above the picture click resize. Out of the size options, pick avatar. Then you'll have to right-click and save the image.

Well, not being able to change UserID is a bigger gripe to me....

i did change to avatar but when i tried to put it on seib it said something. i forgot. is photobucket down cuz when i tried to go on the sitejustdoesn't show.

Photobucket is up as of now...did you right click the image itself and click "save image as" or whatever? If Photobucket doesn't work, http://picresize.com/legacy/ is a site where you can resize any image to make it smaller. At the end it gives you the new image, just save it then. Oh, and you don't copy any coding into the avatar space, you should use a picture already on your pc.
