Last night I seen something I had never seen before on TV
Two shows at 10pm one on the History Channel and the other on the Sci Fi Channel and both had the same name of UFO Hunters.
I turned them back and forth to see whats up
These two are two totally different shows in how there produced. The Sci Fi version is from the creators of Ghost Hunters and the other was totally different even using CGI animation and looked to have abigger budget
I thought there was a copyright law over names of shows and whoever had the named copyrighted first could sue

See, ghost hunters was awesome.
Destination Truth, was equally as good.
GH International: Well...Donna, the Irish dude, and the locations are great.
But Sci-fi really needs to stop. Leave the UFO stuff to the history channel where they have more credibility.

I like the show but I really hate that weasel Andy
I wonder if he pouted to get to be a lead investigator on this show

Well, he's a better investigator than Brian. That guy is annoying to no end.
But I wouldn't be surprised if both of them cried and whined about no being on the show.
Especially Brian, he wasn't on Ghost Hunters for awhile because he had a baby. But now he's off touring Europe? Yeah, thats kinda f-ed up.

See, I have the opposite opinion; anything dealing with UFOs or cryptozoology should be on either the Sci Fi Channel or the Discovery Channel, not the History Channel. History Chaneel should deal with history - make it interesting, like Lost Worlds or Cities of the Underground, but leave the speculative stuff to other channels.

What are all these shows? I know Ghost Hunters (non-international), but never heard of the others.

You guys like Ghost hunters too! I can't get enough of that show.
GHI though, not so much. It is missing the charm that the origional had (And I can't stand the attitude of the lead investigator guy)
UFO hunters just doesn't draw me into however. The hosts just don't present it well. I just leave that extraterrestrial stuff to the UFO files show on History channel.

Normaly I would agree but the Sifi channel has a habit of canceling these kinds of show's before they really get good.
The History channel has quite a few good specials on these topics and I'm hopping that they keep these show's on the air.

Yeah, I post on the boards occasionally, but the people on there weren't the sort of people I enjoy being around.
Example: I brought up a couple paranormal experiences I had in my house; the responses were either 'cleanse the house' or 'get an investigation.' Apparently nobody had read where I said, I liked the stuff, and I was looking for what it could be, not how to deal with it.
It all seemed very fluffy over there.

If b y fluffy you mean you can't critisize TAPS members I agree
Andy is no longer considered TAPS so I get on his case and I found out i'm not the only one who hates this bastard

Ok, well thats just one part. By fluffy I actually mean, they think they know everything about a subject, they spout off an answer, while not reading the question, or just ignoring it.
It's the equivalent of an fan of Armada, has only seen Armada, doesn't know about G1/BW/Energon/Cybertron or any of the other shows, then talks about how Armada is the best show ever and claims to know everything about it.

Pretty much my thoughts. If ever something credible actually popped up, it'd be all over the news.

Reality shows from a network whose name is derived from the term "Science Fiction"?
Well, they have to make something to fill out the schedule. They can't just show Stargate, X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, and five hundred of their god-awful, depressingly bad made-for-TV movies all day.
