I was watching the evening news and they were talking about a new type of advertising in magazines. It is called peel and taste. Welches has an add that a person could peel the strip and taste to see if they would like to buy some. The news said it was based on the same technology as breath strips. I dont know if I could get used to tasting a magazine though.

Well, I'd be a bit apprehensive about tasting something in a magazine more so than if it was a scratch and sniff.

The potential for magazines off the rack to have moisture or something soaked up into the tongue strip thing would put me off.

Then again, I think anyone who picks up a magazine off a rack at a news stand, or off the street and starts tasting things. Well they're pretty damn insane to begin with.

If getting a magazine off the rack and tasting it is bad how much worse would someone be if they tasted one in a doctors office?

I've found the paper I have eaten was rather bland and unfulfilling.
Well, for the most part unfulfilling. :HALUC: Do they have the nutrition
ratings for this delicious new paper? I for one can't wait to
walk into the gas station and get a nice snack of paper.
The flavors are limitless. Spinach, fish, liver... I can't wait.

Not exactly what I would have considered paper, but I guess it is
technically. By that thinking I would, in a way, consider a nori a type of paper.

I actually saw this in a PEOPLE Magazine. (I like the Crossword puzzles)...anywho, it was in a sealed foil pouch that you had to take off of the page. You open the pouch and there was a purple patch. I didn't think it tasted like Welch's grape juice. However, I thought it was novel and give it a B+ for creativity.
