This isn't going in the video games section, just because it's something that deserves to be seen not just by video gamers, but anyone else.

So, a couple weeks ago, I was told that Video Games Live was going to be coming to Fort Wayne.

Well, being a college kid, I have absolutely no cash to spend on anything other than gas. So I didn't give it much thought.

Then I was told IPFW had 125 free tickets for students. Needless to say I was there when they started reserving them.

Tonight was the concert, the Fort Wayne Phil Harmonic went through tons of favorite video game themes.

(not in order)
FF7
Super Mario
Sonic
God of War
Halo(1,2,3)
Pong
Castlevania
Metal Gear Solid
Kingdom Hearts
Legend of Zelda
Tron
Space Ace
Dragon's Lair
Warcraft/WoW
Starcraft 2

and a crapload of others.

Also, Martin Leung who had the youtube video where he played the Mario theme blindfolded was there, he did a Final Fantasy medely, and later, Super Mario.
It was fantastic. Hearing them play God of War, and the Halo themes, just grand.

I love video game music! :D Since I've discovered NSF players, I've made many a mixed CD of good ol' 8-bit and 16-bit jams. I've never heard of this group before, but if they rock hard like the Minibosses, they'd be cool in my book.
