I can't remember quite how I happened across these, but I'm betting that a lot of you would appreciate me sharing them.

I found a couple of videos containing collections of cartoo introduction sequences from the 80's and 90's. Very, very nostalgic! Both are half an hour long and sure to bring back some fond memories.

Here's one for the 80s

Featuring He-Man, Transformers, Dungeons and Dragons, etc.

And the 90's

Featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon and the many Warner Bros. cartoons, plus a load more.

Enjoy!

I've seen these, and they're great. I can vaguely remember some of the 80s ones. It's like a tiny spark of a memory for them. Now some of those 90s ones I remember quite well!

Favorite 80s shows as a kid: Ninja Turtles and My Little Pony

Favorite 90s shows: Ducktales, Tiny Toons, Batman, and Spiderman

Damn, that's a jolt of memory. I was practically raised on all that stuff. :APPLAUSE:

EDIT: As well, I have to think these cartoons had to have had an affect on who I am today. I was born at the end of the 80's, when all the good cartoons of that era were still on, and was just in time to see the golden age of cartoons turned out by Warner Bros and Disney, some even directly influenced by Steven Spielberge. They told in-depth, emotional, complex stories and told values I still hold today.

In each one, I see fellowship, compassion, hope, and the protagonist fighting against the villan-- he who fights against free expression and seeks to make his gain bey taking it from others. It was my introduction to the libertarian law. I have to say remembering all these brings that happy-sad feeling you get when seeing an old friend, appreciating the old times but knowing they're very likely done.

Nice find. ;)^

Ah memories. That 90's one should have had a lot more. Dragonball Z, ReBoot, Beast Wars, and Shadow Raiders. That was my prime time everynight for quite a few years.

There should be live action versions. The A-Team, Buffy, Hercules, Xena, Home Improvement, Married with Children, Rosanne, Power Rangers, Saved By The Bell, Cosby, Full House, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Sabrina, etc, etc, etc.

I grew up on all of the 80's ones, and I have to wonder how I had time to watch all of those. On a side note, does anybody else think it's kind of weird that the first thing He-Man does after he gets his powers is swing his sword at his cat?
