Ok, a few minute ago a very kind black women came knockin at the door. She was probablt trying to seel something to my grandparent who still live in the house. My reaction was that i freaked out and closed the door saying "They are...uh..occupied!". I slammed the door, waited, and checked them bakc. She kindly smiled and go away. Now, im holding a knife because im sure 15 black dude will come knowing that im alone in the house!!!

Crap, im not like that...i dont hate black, why did i reacted like that???? She was probably a jehovah thing or something...

When Im walking at street and I hear foot steps, I start to get creepy and uncomfortable..

Yeah, i watch too much horror movie. But my father and grandfather are extreme racist. Sometime, this side of me just pop up and can't control my paranoia. When that happend, i think black dude will kill me...

Cop-On? One of the few english expression im not quite sure of its meaning...

"Cop on" is an expression from Dublin, and it is the verbal equivilant of grbbing you by the shoulders, giving you a slaping the face and telling you to get a "Grip".

So , Cop On-Either you are a f**king bigot, a jerk or acting like a child. Whatever the eventuality, cop on.

This is why the flying saucers are not landing, cause we're so damned smeggin' stupid. Racisim tends to work with hypocracy and stupidity.

Example: Many of my family are rather racist against blacks, latinos, and so on.

And yet a VERY large majority of my family is Polish.....my relatives say they left Poland ( majority of it during the 60's and 70's, so you get the idea how rough it was there ), to get away from regressive governments and away from persecution.....yet my relatives are about as racist as those folks past the mason-nixon line. Makes me chuckle cause they this and that about how awful blacks and Mexicans are, yet I keep wanting to say to them "When was the last time something good was said about the Polish?" ( And I'm of Polish descent myself ) Ironic, is it not.

Sorta like the Pilgrims leaving England to escape religious persecution in the 1600's, yet within a few decades, they gone and burnt witches. :roll:

You want to end racisim, then drop the bigotry and the excuses and worthless smeg your relatives might have burnt into what you'd call a brain and start talking with reason, and offer an open hand, rather than a closed fist. For to get predjudice to vanish, you gotta start somewhere, and the first generation to do so will have the hardest time doing it, but tough cheese, step out of your comfort zones for a change.

Nico is gone of this world.

As ignorant of a response as freaking out at
someone at your front door is. Bad things do happen in
those situations.
Every year I hear more and more stories on the news from Milwaukee about people pretending to need help. Then the
3 (usually black) guys hiding around the corner
of the house appear and somebody ends up dead.
Miltown is getting worse and worse. And to think I liked working in the ghetto.

Don't worry, Paranoia doesn't make you racist.

Depending upon where you are, there's a good chance that you've simply adopted a number of stereotypes that will help you to survive in that environment.

Isn't it better to turn away 100 black jehova's witnesses, and arm yourself to the teeth until sunrise the next day, than to wind up dead?

I'm not racist (Some of my best friends happen to be African American), but I do feel socially awkward around Gangsta Rapper-type guys.

Oh, and Ebonics (The type of speech typically used in hip-hop songs) sucks.

But I would've closed to door in the lady's face anyway, because we don't like Solicitors.

EDIT: Oh, and I got a cuncussion from an African American guy. That could cause a little bit of racial awkwardness.

Anyone turning someone away due to the color of their skin
is racist. Race was brought into this. If the comment was directed towards the simple fact that some kid was home alone
and was frightened by anyone knocking on their door is one thing. Being scared because they were black is another.
IF YOU ARE A KID DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR. DON'T LET ANYONE KNOW YOU ARE EVEN THERE.
What the hell do they teach kids now a day? I grew up in some not so savory neighborhoods in my youth, maybe I have an edge.
I don't know. I worked in the bad parts in the city of Milwaukee. I have seen 45 bangers massed on the streets brandishing and flashing there weapons. Just don't act all stupid. Don't get freaked out and don't mention calling the cops in situations like that. That will get you in some trouble. Don't make jokes. Hell, try as much as you can to blend into the back ground. Most of the time they will not even acknowledge your existence.
Gangs are fun. They bring power along with fear. Get into the right one and you can even get 'PAID'. Obviously the 15 black guys were not outside the house and nobody got hurt,
maimed or killed.
Honestly I worry more about the crazy white guys in the rusted out Ford Econoline van with the tint job worth more than the vehicle. Those are the ones to watch out for.

Not to mention we are by nature a visual species. What do they teach you before numbers and letters? Colors. Someone asks you what you are wearing, how do you respond? Color, then type of clothing.

To be fair, Political Correctness (which I despise) enforces racism. How? If you're not Politically Correct, you're a racist. That simple rule changed the language. Instead of there only being one or two offensive racial epitaphs per color, now any term other than the single PC term for said color is grounds to get you sued by the NAACP for racial intolerance.

Also, this whole concept of different races is Bull in itself... We're all Human. We're all identical under our skin or in the dark.
