You might want to add a few more choices since this has more or less been done already.

I choose Tekkaman anyway. Big surprise there.

I don't know if it counts, but G-Gundam had some of the best.

Are we going for Mobile Suits here though? I think the original intent of the post was for human sized armour suits. But I'm not 100% sure of that.

The Teknoman armor is actually quite memorable, I remember seeing it in morning cartoons some years back, which is quite incredible since I often forget what I'm...

Wait... what?

Oh! Armor!

No contest here :)

But can you really count the Ghosts' armor? I mean Starcraft: Ghost is taking about as long as Duke Nukem Forever to have any sort of news about progress or anything like that.

I think they ditched it after they announced Starcraft II. Also, is she just really pale from the neck down, or is that suit REALLY tight?

Can't go wrong with Samus's suit.

Well Blizzard ended up saying that Ghost wasn't canceled or dead. But they haven't said anything past that.

They removed the site, they took the title off of their Development List. I think we can say that if it isn't finished, it won't be released for quite some time.

We at least have a trailer for Duke Nukem: Forever, and they do tend to release little tidbits every so often, indicating that they haven't forgotten or given up on it.

Although Starcraft Ghost has been cancelled, if not in name then in all practicality, there have been a few books detailing the backstory behind Nova and so forth, so in all technicality, it *does* count since the thread is about Power Armour in fiction :)

And yes, the armor is incredibly form fitting

Though that would be the way to go insofar as body armor is concerned. You'll want something that's as unobtrusive as possible to allow for maximum agility in the combat field while also delivering maximum protection. Given the time period Starcraft is set in, and the high tech nature of the Ghost program in the SC universe, it seems to be a fairly accurate view of how body armour might evolve.

Oh, and the armor lets her cloak too :D

I'm not complaining. Blood-deprived sections of my brain are, but I'm not.

Actually, tight suits don't mean agile. In fact, it's probably the opposite. Very loose clothing (Like a ninja's shinobi shozoku) are much better, since they are loose, that they allow for much easier movement.

But hey, I can't complain with that picture.

Hm, didn't even know there were novels setting up for SC: Ghost.

all this talk of powered armor makes me want to build one of my own. Screw fictional stuff, lets go for a real one.

Tekkaman Omega owns all.

Blade should have never been able to beat him.

I wouldn't put Omega into the running, as he is much more than just Kengo Aiba in a suit of armour. He wasn't really a human at all by the time he got to fight. He's more like a biomechanical monster than anything else. What with all the tentacles and extra arms and lack of legs and such.

I probably would have liked TB2 a hell of a lot more if Blade hadn't won though. Stupid Yumi.

Well, Blade would have probably reached a similar form since the Teknoman +/Blaster Tekkaman is supposed to be a intermediate form (this is hinted when Omega discusses Blade's upgrade with Evil). Omega represents the fully evolved form of the Tekkamen.

So, I recon that it could be a tossup wether or not Omega could be included.

I could see Evil maybe taking on a form like that while he still has the parasite in his neck, but I seriously doubt Blade would have become anything remotely like Omega. Omega is on a completely different level, and it literally did take a miracle for Blade to kill him.

Omega seems to have an affinity to his ship, like he is the heart of it. It seems to be why he's unable to leave it to fight Blade himself, and has to have Dagger, Evil, and company, fight Blade for him.

The only real person who could compete with Blade in a competition like this would be Evil himself, or maybe Dead at a stretch. But Dead is no match for either of them in their Blaster form, and I certainly can't see him beating regular Evil at his peak either. TB2 D-Boy just got a little too old. :P
