Before I found these forums, I thought that Transformers collecting was a thing of the past. But I was wrong! So... seeing as I believe Lego and Bionicle are in the same category.. does anyone else collect these too?

I've picked up a couple of Bionicles to use their weapons on TF's.

But i'd love to get back into collecting some of the vintage Space Lego as that's what I grew up with.

I'm a bit too old for Lego these days, but I do like the Bionicle sets. Pretty good story behind the series too. :)

In fact, the series is so popular it even had a blockbuster movie last year! :P

I really don't collect them like Transformers, but I have a few. I was going to get a few Bionicles, but got some Movie toys instead, and I'm happy. I have friends who collect them, but they don't care about Transformers as far as I know.

Yah.. I'm in the same boat. Not really into Lego anymore, but I'm a huge fan of Bionicle. Infact, if anyone hasn't taken a look at the new sets that have come out, please do so now:

While I no longer buy any new Lego sets, I still have all of my original ones. I doubt that I will ever get rid of them either, considering the thousands of dollars that myself and my parents put into them. They were one of the only toys I didn't have to beg my parents to buy, I even had my own Lego room in the basement. I had a nice 4' x 8' table about four feet off the ground that had drawers with dividers in them built underneeth.

Now they are all stored away in two dresssers in my parent's basement. Ever so often I'll go there and mess around with them, but never to the same degree that I used to. It's still kind of fun though.

Just to give you guys an idea how many sets I am talking about, these are all of the instructions that I still have. A good chunk of them got lost the last time I moved.

I've been collecting Lego's and Mega Bloks since I was 5. Started with Space Police then went pretty much directly into Star Wars. Now I only collect the Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets. So far I've got the AT-ST, Darth Vader TIE Advanced Prototype, Death Star II and the Star Destroyer. Next one I'm planning on is the Millennium Falcon if it hasn't sold out by July when I'm moved out and settled. Then the Tantive IV. Followed by the Snow Speeder, Y-Wing, TIE Interceptor and then the X-Wing.

The last three will be hard to find MISB though as they're getting on in years. Most have opened and assembled theirs. Damn you mom for not getting the Interceptor and X-Wing when they were originally out.
