How many of you guys plan to see this film????
I scored early viewing tickets on monday and saw it today.
The film had great FX's and all but the story was very predictable but I still enjoyed it

I read a review and the plot just sounds really boring.

Plan to see it. Cos there's not a hell of a lot else showing at our crappy cinema. They didn't even get 30 days of night.
Cheap bastards.

The plot was you're typical story.
But the movie itself was pretty awesome.
Although, it seems that every bad-guy from a foreign land, be it Egypt, Persia, Atlantis, Space, now has to have their voice modified so they sound like a Goa'uld.

Maybe 10,000BC ties into the Stargate Universe, thus making all the "bad guys" Goa'uld!
Effects looks to be okay, but I hold no expectations for this film.

I need more than effects in a movie. In fact, I can't stand movies that have effects as their main draw.
And I'm training into the effects industry right now. Who knew?

Just saw it last weekend. The story was pretty predicatable for the most part. However, I did thoroughly enjoy it for the effects. It is definately a movie to watch on the big screen if you are going to watch it at all.
Just remember to bring along your willing suspension of disbelief, then sit back and have a good immersive experience.
If not, don't waste your 10 bucks.
