Ok so my brother and I go in on my moms bday gift. We got her a 60 doller necklace from Macys. He also bought a new trash can and a few other things. He left the necklace in the bottem of the trash can. It's garbage night, and it looks just like his old one. There were some empty bags ontop of it. And needless to say I didn't see it and threw it out. He acts like it's all my fault, but I think it's a little but his too cause he left it in all things; a trash can. He wants me to pay for it so I gave him the little I had and he went off to replace it. Should I have to pay for all of it? Also, my brother has the recept, will they replace it?

It doesn't. You need a decompiler for it to work. And a lot of people don't have those. (At least, no one I know)

But how does that get the neckless back?

Personally, if that happened to me, I'd go back to the store and see if they would be willing to replace it, even if it was for half price. Doesn't hurt to explore the option, especially since you have the receipt.

Seems like a case of just being beat!

Sorry, I feel for you cause that sucks.

And realy, why leave it in a garbage can? But on that same note, you couldn't tell a can that needs to be taken out from one with a gift in it.

I mean no offense, but let this be a smack to the back of both your heads!

That was a pretty ridiculous place to leave her present in and if you had no idea it was in there then he should pay for it all

Reminds me of that story where this guy bought his girlfriend a necklace that cost thousands of dollars. He wanted to be romantically special, so he put the jewelry in a balloon. He planned on having it popped, and her getting a wonderful surprise. Needless to say, the balloon got away, and after a 2 hour car chase, the grief-stricken man had to give it up. Now she won't talk to him unless he buys another one.

That necklace must have sucked cause a balloon can't carry that much weight. Maybe if it was mylar, but those are hard to pop?
