Ok, So this is what i need. The cars are one of my favorite bands. I found a you tube video of there performance at live aid in 1985. I want that song to be converted into a mp3 so that i can listen to it on my ipod and not just online from a video. Can anyone, Or does anyone know how to convert a video in to a mp3 music track? If so can someone hook me up with it.

It's kind of easy. You need to set a recording program (With MP3 capabilities) so that your speakers are the recording device. (Rather than a Microphone)

Then, it's a simple matter of hitting the record and play buttons at the same time. It's a lot like making a mix-tape with a dual-cassette player, actually, only significantly less primitive.

Put in the URL of the youtube video. Select the MP3 option and you're on your way.

It may take a while or a few tries to get it started. The quality won't be the best, but you are ripping it off youtube, not a CD.

Also I hear some converters download spyware on your comp as well. I don't think this one does, but I'm not 100% sure.
