I want to make a signiture and i dont know how.

This site seens to have a lot of space for signitures and people actually add things to them. Some people put who they came up as on the Which Movie transformer Are You quiz.

So i figure this is the place to make a big signiture.


I want to add a picture of Vergil to my song lyrics signiture.
But i dont know how to put the picture above it.I might put another picture if it dosnt fit.

Can someone tell me how?

Well, the first thing you should do is read the Sig Guidelines thread in GD so you know what the rules are regarding sigs.

As for adding a picture, the first thing you have to do is make sure it's uploaded on the net. It's a good idea to get your own picture hosting account (like at Photobucket) and upload there rather than using a picture hosted by someone else as they a)- May not approve of you using it and b)- May remove it without notice.

Now once you've got it uploaded and you've copied the url (the http:// thingy) for the pic you need to go into your user control panel and find the bit about sigs.

Once there you want to add this code.

Then just save the changes and you should be set!

I dont have a account with any photo sharing site but it would be a good idea to have one if i can put them on my sigs.

The whole concept of photobucket makes me feel like vomiting.

But i do realise know from this post that it doesnt actually have to be photos.

I am going to burn all photos of me and any other people have and keep only the ones i need for myspace and Bebo and facebook.
I dont think photos should be seen ever unless they are important and
any that are important and arnt garbage should be kept in memory sticks etc. And albums should banned from sight and burned if they are going to be looked at in anything other than a personel setting.

So i take it Photobucket dosnt actually mean they have to be photos then? What a relief.

It's a picture and video storage site. So no, it's not strictly for photos taken with cameras.

That's...kind of creepy. And I'm completely sure 99% of the human population disagrees with you. Hence why cameras and picture frames sell like hot cakes; a family picture is best kept on a wall, not a memory stick.

It can be anything. I host pretty much everything there.

Uh, yeah.
It's a picture/video hosting site.
Which is also why you see people hosting their sigs on Photobucket.

Ok i got it.sig has to be 500 by 500 or 500 by 300

But when it put the code in between the imgs i end up with the letters etc and no picture.

I joined photobucket.Its easy to use i am glad.

What do i have to do to make it come out as a picture?

Which, you may notice, is my sig.

You want to click on the box that says "Direct link." It'll copy by itself, which it didn't used to do. In fact, it didn't used to show the URL at all, you'd have to right click and find it yourself. It is very use friendly, much more so than it used to be.

Its stil not working. Still letters.

If you click "Select all" and then right click on the highlighted text and go copy you can then go to the sig part in the control panel and paste (right click again then paste) it in.

As you can see i did it.

I dont know how i did it.

I dont think i remember how i did it.

but somehow i did it.
