Gotta love Ryan's tutorial for lightsabers. I would try getting the saturation up though. You can do that by going into the negative with the other colors.

It looks good, the blades seem edged at the tip at times instead of rounded, and the blades look a little short.

Other than that, damn good job for a first try.

Sorry to double post but I am currently uploading a revised version of my saber movie to youtube. this one is higher resolution, no longer slo-mo, and has the lightsaber sound FX added in.

On the second one, he added Lightsaber sounds. It was way off though, so he said he'd re-upload it.

He doesn't have internet at the moment, so he's using a friend's computer. (A friend other than me) He is, however, getting DSL, meaning I can stop pirating Naruto, and he can do it himself.

yeeeaahhhh... about that.... We sorta called the AT&T today, and me ma'am decided that we were just going to go with dial up. (she decided without giving me any real say in the matter!) the video is being processed as we speak. hopefully the audio won't be off the mark this time!

If you could do that then that would be very excellent! The props I was working with in this film were a cheap toy lightsaber, and a busted fishing rod!

It'll catch on and it will be just like the civil war sigs... or it will become cliche'd and everyone will begin to hate it. but I'm optimistic so I'll lean in favor of the former!
