Hamburger Helper vs Kraft Dinner

Had a discussion with a friend over which is better, HH or KD. Which do you prefer? I'm an HH man myself. KD is like HH without the meat... unless you add little weinies. But the sauce in HH is thicker and tastes better. Plus KD has, I think, two flavours. HH has dozens.

That's my take.

HBH cause it tastes good, but you do have to find meat to cook with it.

So I'm gonna opt for a third and say Chef Boyardee straight from the can.

I'm a HBH fan myself. Haven't eaten any in a long time though.

I vote KD. I've never liked HBH. The flavours never seem to taste like what they're supposed to emulate.

Bingo. Taco flavor, cheeseburger, and every other one all taste exactly like the regular HBH. Mac and Cheese beats that crap by a long shot.

I'm a pasta freak myself. Especially if it has sausage. It really depends on what meat you put in the HH. If you follow the orders and put in ground beef, it's okay, but I prefer good ol' mac and cheese. My favorite food ever, though, is even better. You just cook get egg noodles, and mix it with a sauce made out of Cream of Mushroom and Polish Sausage. Yum! B-)

I have HBH about once a month or so. I've had mixed results (some of which are my fault) with the flavors coming out right. Kraft Mac and Cheese is always good, especially if you decide to add other stuff to it (my favorite is diced ham or chopped up bacon).

I usually buy a generic Chili Tomato Hamburger Helper for 99ยข which makes enough for two meals!

I don't know why they call the stuff Hamburger Helper. It does just fine by itself.

Hamburger helper is a wonderful laxitive after getting stuffed with a Kraft dinner.

I've mainly eaten macaroni and cheese, often with tuna. I prefer ramen, though. I really like a cassarole made with cooked rice, eggs, cheese, and ham or spam (baking if for others, microwave works for single).

I totally love Kraft Mac n Cheese. One box is like a whole days worth of meals, and it always tastes better in the second warm up. HBH is okay, but I hate to forage for the meat. Too much effort.

Second warm up? I like it just made! After 15 minutes it's too dry.

Gah. Hamburger Helper turns my stomach every time. Even with the grease drained off of the meat, what's left of it, combined with the salt of the mix, I still get incredible nausea and come to the brink of vomiting. Thankfully, I haven't gone over the line yet.

I haven't eaten HH in...well...about a year and a half now, if I had to guess.

I don't believe I've ever had Kraft Dinner, so I can't comment on that one.

...what's really odd though, I can eat Tuna Helper, no problem. *shrugs* Go figure.

eew! Mac n' cheese is NASTY! I never understood how people can eat that stuff! I don't like either the boxed stuff or home-made...I have tried to like it, I really have..but it makes me gag every time!

Now, Hamburger Helper, on the other hand....a week's worth of food in one little box and one pound of meat (I even like it with deer meat!), and most of the time it is under $2 a box..and most varieties are kinda tasty!
