I know the title isn't very clear but I was at tru the other day and picked up the general hawk and scarlet comic two pack. I noticed that it wasn't my favorite version of hawk the one with the camo fatigues and helmet with googles but version 1 here he is wearing generic green and looks like any of dozen other GI Joe figures if I hadn't read the box I wouldn't have even know it was hawk. So what do you think should they skip some of the version 1 figure to go with a more well know mold
Here is the picture of the two different molds for hawk:

The Hawk released in the 2 pack is based off the figure from the first year of the toyline. The later figure came out when the character was introduced in the cartoon. A version of that one has yet to be done. They seem to be focusing mainly on the season 1 characters currently but I would I give my hopes up on the season more 2 chars being released. Thus far only Serpentor has seen retailers and Vipers and BATS are well on their way. I would imagine we'll see a version of the later general hawk some time later this year.

NOPE, I'm being patient about the whole thing. There are plenty of joes I still want, and am hoping they will make.

I don't have any problems with the versions they've chosen. Some of the choices like diaper crotch, comic pack paint schemes, and hands that cannot hold weapons I do have problems with.
