Wow. Bugger. Really, bugger.

Wow. Charleston Heston was an icon. Whether you agreed with him politically or not, he was arguably one of the better actors of his time, and it is a shame to see such a full life and talent pass away. RIP, Moses.

Not for anything though, the roles he played became his life.

His work in the NRA, making gun control both acepted and also restrictive was something more responsible than Reagan ever did!

I've enjoyed some of his roles, but most of his movies are lost on me.

However what he did with his clout, and how he handled himself on latter years in a serious even when jesting manner, even when pushing a point....

I can respect that!

This is a guy who took every opertunity, and turned it to it's utmost right. A dying breed, one that we should realy learn from.

Already new he was close they covered on king 5 news here in washington state on friday. He was amazing actor he will be missed.

Had to mention the acting thing twice, so as to not let his politics overshadow his illustrious career. To me, he will always be Moses!

So many wonderful films like
The 10 Commandments, Ben-Hur, Touch of Evil, Planet of the Apes
Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Tombstone, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, and so many others were just better because he was in them.

Rest in Peace Charlton Heston you deserved it.

My sympathies to his family, he was an awesome guy and actor.

Pretty much all of my RL friends have no idea who he is!!

I get that it's a joke, but aren't you always overly sensative about people dying and stuff like that?

But you'll joke on an actor who all the way around used his clout civicly to poke fun at the families of murder victims?

I'm sure Jesus already told Charlton that he didn't agree with his political views and that he also told Charlon that he is a fan of his movies. Especially the ones that Charlton appeared in as biblical characters like John the baptist, Moses , and Ben Hurr, etc. It must of been a very interesting conversation indeed.
