Shame on you New Zealand. SHAME!

And for once I'm not talking about the sorry lot of the Transformer fan down here.

Our PM proudly dances around the fact she's finally scored the elusive FTD with China.

She signed it a few days ago, right around the time the Chinese police and military were killing themselves a few monks in Tibet.

NZL often stands up for human rights, and breaks out the verbal arse kickings to any nation that might impinge on those rights. Dafur, Zimbawe, N. Korea, Americans and that little POW camp you lot have. But obviously the mouths of our wretched politicans are sewn shut when tarrif lifting is involved.

Not that a great deal of you young 'ens would care, or even know where China or NZL is (ah, the ignorance of youth). I have to make the statement, that the majority of NZLers (like 70+%) are super duper pissed at our wretched hypocritical PM and her cowardly government. (Let it be known I've never had much love for our manly female PM).

Usually I'm pretty proud to call my self a New Zealander. But not today.

So much for freedom, democracy and human rights, they can all be overlooked for the right amount of $$$.

SHAME!!

Hey at least you didnt have a "Leader" who ran around being America's lap dog for 11 years...

It is an odd time to get a FTD with China though, especially since the Anti-China feelings are swelling up ready to burst when the Olympics hit there in a few months.

And its even odder that it is New Zealand signing one, usually its Australia doing these stupid things with New Zealand shaking their heads at us...

What exactly does FTD stand for in this case?

I'm with you, Negare. I've been pissed at China for years, even though so much of what I own was made there. :?

It's pot shots like these that make me regret coming to boards like this.

What POW camp that I have? I don't remember having a personal stake in Guantanamo. I didn't open the damn thing, and I have very little to do with it's operations.

Anyway, sarcasm aside. Not everyone appreciates the snide comments about Americans, when the same can be said about Germans, the Japanese, the UK, or any other nation for that matter, whose citizens you want to hold accountable for the actions of their leaders. Such broad generalization in concerns to everyone else, but boldly removing yourself in concerns to the actions of your own government.

At least I can **** on my own face, utilising my apparent unique haircut.

Can you do that, you wannabe Scotsman?

No democracy can truly wash its hands of the actions of its government.

Well, no. Because that would go against the principles of democracy by definition. The government is always accountable to the people, and when the people don't like the goverment's actions, then the government ceases to meet it's designated function to represent the people.

Feh, I've been reading a lot of John Locke recently...

If you are, then look up anarcho-capitalism. I don't exactly agree with it, but it's an interesting example of an alternate system. As well, I would be careful with John Locke, especially with his inherent laws of nature and the rights of man. As I see it, it's metaphysical nonsense applied to a much simpler issue.

And I would vocalize disagreement with any nationalistic principal, group mentality, or other viewpoint that holds accountable for another those who have an artificially tangible relation to that other's actions. It would solve a hell of a lot of issues in the world today. Think of current territorial disputes. Who cares if my great grandfather took your great grandfather's land? I live here now, I have been born and raised here, I have cultivated it, and I have taken my living from it, while you have been raised and worked hundreds of miles away. Why should you even care to want what I have sewn?

And, I have to say, BC, your last post confused me on a multiple of levels...

How about the Vietnamese, kind of forgot them. They never tortured or killed anyone in pow camps OH WAIT THEY DID....funny I thought this wasn't a war....just a hard head Texan who hates Muslims.....oh now it's a war hence the pow comment. Make up your liberal minds up, flip flop flip flop.

I don't hear about people dying left and right at Q-bay....or being killed with saw blades like Hussein did, or what Hitler did, by starving and poisoning them. Even on our lovely liberal media in this country doesn't report that everyday.
Funny no one ever remembers that....oh wait one of them was European.....my bad....

This pretty much sums up why I don't come to this site at all anymore. The one day I decide to login and yet again a thread totally bashing America.

Funny this is an American site, about an American toy line....and yet the mods, admins, and the owner won't lock this.

Gee seeing this won't deter American fans from joining at all.....

Perhaps America should stop saving all of your asses every time there is a war, a crisis or the likes.

Of course some of you will say, we don't want your help....well maybe speaking German is your forte perhaps?

Next time there is a tsunami we shouldn't send help....or help the poor people around the world, or with this supposed Global warming bs, that no one can agree with is actually happening or not.

I'm sure I'll receive a warning or a banning because of my comments, gee first amendment rights don't work on here, unless your a liberal tree hugging hippie....how nice!
