Explosion!

One of the lines of garages close to my building apparently blew up. The flames are frikken huge! It's a pretty safe distance, though. Holy hell, I wish I had a camera to show you this.
EDIT: Well, they put it out. What a way to start a Sunday, huh?
Freaky, though. The cloud of smoke goes all the way own the street.

Off by about fifty feet. Shows you for buying Bargain Basement weapon systems.
My sister's boyfriend's workplace also had a fire yesterday, and about 2/3 of the building was burned. And they think it was arson. Since that's on the other side of town...

All joking about meth labs aside, I think Burn should stop being so cheap. You know how these second-rate hitmen turn out. Never do the job they're hired for.

There's nothing better than a huge explosion!! Those things really get the heart pumping!
I'm glad you didn't get your face blown off.
I cared for a guy who kept a meth lab in his car which exploded when he was trying to out run the cops - they were only trying to pull him over because one of his tail lights were out.
Hahaha, he was so paranoid!

I don't know that it was an explosion. I THINK it was, because the flames were thirty feet in the air by the time I saw it. (Shortly after I saw the police outside)
Some dude's Harley got fried. I think people should know about that.

My very first thoughts upon finding this thread!
Thankfully, the fire pretty much vaporizes all the toxic chemicals in those places (for the most part, depending on amounts being burned) and makes them less-lethal to inhale!

I wouldn't be so sure. I was tripping balls for five hours. That may have been the lack of sleep, though.

I had a similiar experience to this one.
In Michigan, where I used to live, there was this really famous old guy who lived in a big ass house all alone, he was like a meth kingpin in the town.
Everyone knew he made meth and all that, but nobody could touch him because he never left his house, so there was no evidence what-so-ever that he did what everyone knew he did.
Anyway, one day for, I think his 55th birthday party, and this is where it gets really messed up, he decided to have a contest, where 5 lucky meth addicts who found the golden needles, would be able to take a tour of his magical meth lab, and one extremely lucky winner, would win all the meth he could have for life.
So after the five golden needles were found, one of the meth addicts was a undercover cop to get information on the old man, they showed up at his house to take the tour.
Apparently everything was going fine, granted a couple of the addicts were tripping at the time during the boat ride, freaked out and ended up drowning, a third ended up getting shanked by some midgets the old man had working there.
It seemed like the undercover cop would win, and get all the evidence he needed to put the old guy away for the rest of his life. But then, the lab exploded, took the entire house with it, along with all the desperate crack addicts standing around outside the gate.
It was messed up.

Think about it, i've been here nearly 5 years and haven't made Mod yet.
I'm the guy they turn to to take out members like you when they don't want to get their own hands dirty.

Hey, how about getting back on track?
The do on the other garages in the line are all busted out, while I'd say about two garages have collapsed entirely. A guy's Harley was in the fire as well, so tough luck there. There's also what I call "Cajun-style mini-van."
Seriously, I need a camera.

I got a 12 megapixel Kodak easyshare Z1275 camera from QVC several months ago for $188.00 when it was on special, they sold over sixty thousand of them that day alone and it's been great!
The camera has a feature where if you delete a picture you can change your mind and bring it right back.
Seriously though that's tough about the guys bike but do they know what caused the fire yet ?

I don't know. I did a bunch of Google searches, and even local news sites don't have anything about it.

Sad to say, but the news has become desensitized to exploding houses, for the most part. Unless it was some rich and/or famous person's house or the explosion caught 12 other houses of fire, it is not likely to even make local-yokel news!
Meth, yet again, sucks all the fun out of life! When a good explosion doesn't even make the news, what is this world coming to????
