Need some help with my RC Aston Martin

Hi all I have a bit of a problem, the antena on the car it self ripped off. The part that ripped off is lost. Does anyone know how i can get it fixed. Anybody know how to do the wireing work or know people who do?

What brand is it (is it an HPI Nitro, etc.)? What brand does it say on the controller? Did you buy it at a Toy Store or a Hobby Shop? If you give me more details I can help you.

Ok it was a radio shack exclusive. It's 1/12th scale. It's just a normal rc car with head and back lights. It's frequency is 49MHz

Here an ebay for it could'nt find a good pic online. I'll see if i can get my cam working, but a chunk of antana on the car itself ripped off. They're still some left but I just need some more wire. And knowlage on how to reattach new wire.

Hmm, the only thing I suggest is to go to your local Hobby Store and get Antenne wire. Take off the body and look for the receiver (it should have all the wires going in and out of it. Take that off and apart and find where the antenne went and hook the antenne back up.

the hobby shops i went to say they don't have parts for it.

what about soldering it back on ? ...it may not look pretty afterwards but it may work.

Just ask for antenna wire, tell them it ripped out ofo your receiver. If they ask what car it is for, say an HPI Electric, if they ask more, say you don't know, you just need antenna wire. Futaba and HiTec make the wire, it's like $1.50. If you still have the wire, just reuse it.
