I saw this Swiss guy (I think?) on Sky news.


A jetpack that travels 160mph?


That's fooking amazing, not even considering the fact that the last jetpack made moved you 5 feet and was powered by hydrogen peroxide.

This one is powered by jet turbines. :shock:

When I saw this thing, I was instantly reminded of the gliders Cobra used in GI JOE. This would be a nice alternative form of transportation to and from work. Bypass traffic compeltely by going over it. Pity it will never see the open market though.

I can see this being a thrill-seeker's dream, like bungee jumping, or sky-diving. Not practical, but extremely fun. Dude could make a fortune by taking people up in a plane and letting them do this.
