I just noticed some old G1 style robot points on my Takara Masterpiece boxes? Are they any good for anything?

If you had a Time Machine, maybe. But they have pretty tight regulation on those, and if you're caught going back in time for exploitation and personal gain, you can get somewhere around 15 years in a ∞D metaprison.

No, they're not good for anything anymore.

There is an Japanese online club for kids to register at. You will also find a little coupon in your Takara box that has a special code. That code gives you access, but there isn't much there. Games and puzzles and stuff (all in Japanese of course).

And sometimes, they're used for Lucky Draws some magazines organise. Again, Japan only.
