The United States Needs To Have A Two Child Maximum Policy
Posted: Sun May 25, 2008 2:00 pmI love how the United States condemns other nations for their overpopulation problems but never looks itself in the mirror. Especially since this nation is the largest consumer of resources and one of the largest polluters on the planet.
I am so sick of seeing people with three or more kids. Now if the third kid was adopted, I have no problem.
Want to help the planet. Quit having so many fricken kids! The world has enough of them and doesn't need anymore!
People, especially women, you are still real human beings if you choose to limit your procreation or not to reproduce at all. Instead of having kids, do something better for yourselves and the environment. Like taking the money and resources the kids cost, along with the time, and investing it in your self-improvement. Getting an education or buying better organic food. Or maybe, if you want to help others, adopt a kid who already exist instead of bringing more into a world that doesn't need them! I plan on having none. And thank goodness!
Here's what I think would solve the problem in the United States.
Give parents tax rebates for the first two kids they have. If they have more than two, not only not give them anymore tax rebates, but start taking away their tax rebates for their existing kids. Tax people like hell for having more than two children. Problem solved!
Now to be humane, this policy should not apply to those families that had more than two children prior to the time it was implemented. Nor should it apply to women who were pregnant prior to it being implemented.
I have read that the United States' rate of population increase is starting to rise again, and across all races.
I love how the racists who blame Mexican and African Americans for the rise. I can't tell you how many Caucasion European Americans I have seen with more than two kids.
This nation can't continue to consume resources like mad at the planet's expense and keep on accelerating that resource depletion by producing more and more kids like crazy.
Again, if there is anything people should be taxed like hell for it should be for having more than two children!
