well, I for one love it, but I'm a sad kid in addition to being a dork...I especially love Hyperpower! and Zero sum.

From what I have heard of it, it sucks.

Trent has made better music.

Just like Metallica, he writes better music when he is non sober.

I for one don't usually say people should use drugs/drink alcohol.

His music is just becoming uncreative anymore

Quite the opposite, Year Zero is highly politically charged and pretty damn brilliant in my opinion. Is it his best work ever? Probably not, but it's right up there for me with Broken and The Downward Spiral.

So because Trent is following the trend and making political music now its considered brilliant?

If I want to listen to political music I will listen to Otep or Rage Against the Machine not Nine Inch Nails

An opinion you are more than entitled to, of course, but as for myself I can't stop listening to it. To each their own.

I don't feel it's so much political as it is science fiction based...if you followed the marketing stunts. Kind of a short story about a post apocalyptic police state and how one person views it. Don't get me wrong, Skinny Puppy's Mythmaker blows Year Zero away but it's better than "With Teeth" which I'm still trying to forget exists.
