I came across this Hot Wheels train like play set from when I was little in a bin of stuff in the basement. I can't find out what it is for the life of me. The furthest I got was I think it's part of a line called Hot Wheels Adventurers or somthing like that. PM me if you need a bigger picture.

Are you sure it's specifically Hot Wheels?

I had a 6x6 Truck when I was a kid that unfolded into a Jungle Playset with a volcano and a miniature version of the truck. It looked (in essence) similar to that, but I don't remember it being a Hot Wheels toy. I do remember it came with a short comic.

Is there a copyright or anything on the bottom of it?

I'm 99% sure he's right on the Hot Wheels thing, if it was actually in doubt at all.

I found a cheap-o miniature McDonalds toy based on that line from the Christmas (1995) that they did a toy from each of Mattel's major lines at the time.

Yes, This is a Mattel/Hot Wheels product. I couldn't find any thing on thier web site. They don't list thier oddball toys. Its like just for the collectors. Like we know anything about collecting somthing #-o .

I randomly remembered - I think this was marketed with a pun.

"Trainsylvania"

Unfortunately, when I try to search for it, the search engine just assumes I'm mispelling what I want.

Edit: Google did better, but still didn't turn it up.

What's funny is that I have the exact same set. I think I might also have the paperwork. I'm going through stuff so I'll let you know if I find anything.

:BOT: After racking my brains I remember Hot Wheels had that "Attack Pack" line where trucks turn into monsters armed with teeth.

I'm not sure if this was part if it though.

It's strange. I think Hot Wheels collectors are the most fanatical amongst toy collectors but there isn't a strong online database like ours. :CON:

I used to have the Attack Pack stuff. Don't know what happened to them. They're the only toys from my childhood that mysteriously dissapeared.

This set is not part of the Attack Pack. This was the Hot Wheels equivalent of Mighty Max and Polly Pocket.

Da.

And Attack Pack was awesome. Made great pets for Transformers (even had knockoff sigils), and the giant hornet was freaky.

They kind of brought Attack Pack back under a different name, but it's less cool now for some reason.

I really miss my Attack Pack stuff too. I used to treat them as if they were a TF experiment on Bio-tech engineering.
