Computer Keyboard Trouble

So my keyboard has some of these snazzy hot keys that open Internet Explorer, My Computer, and a set that manipulate Media Player. But right now they've decided to stop working. The rest of the keyboard works fine so I think it's just a matter of reminding my computer that they exist.

Except I have no idea where to start.

This mouse/keyboard set didn't have software, and before these extra buttons would just work straight away.

So, any help? I'm not sure what make they are either. It's part of a wireless set from Dell, came with the computer. Any ideas?

I'd start by looking on dell's site to see if you need to update/reinstall drivers for it.

also, perhaps you unintentionally disabled a process/ap that needs to be loaded to use them. (I've done that before but it was on a 3rd party set)

Yeah, after I posted I thought to seive through Dell's many downloadables and downloaded a couple of things that seemed relevent. The whole thing might've been a little easier if the model number on my keyboard hadn't been worn off (it was on a sticker). Keyboard works fine now though.

Thanks for the help anyways.
