Doesn't interest me, it's diet Mortal Kombat with nerfed super heros. That's like Texas chainsaw carebear massacre.

I can't believe I forgot Superman has a weakness against magic. that's how Scorpion can hurt him! MK Universe declaring Mortal Kombat on the DC Universe was a good story idea, too, despite being horribly out of character for Rayden.

But I'm still not sold on it.

and terrible voice acting. I'll probably rent it though.

Have you seen the Joker's fatality?

It's perfect.

Lord yes, that is fricking amazing. And his line in the story trailer, "We'll kill things, blow things up!" sounded almost like Mark Hamill. Flash looks utterly amazing to play, the superspeed looks great. Some of Batman's attacks were wierd though. But all in all, I'm looking forward to this.

And Shadowman, don't forget, Raiden has gone a bit loopy as of the last few games.

Is this Street Fighter 4?

No. This isn't even a permissible appetizer before the banquet of Street Fighter 4.

Joker pulls a gun, aims at the head, and fires, only for a BANG flag to pop out. Then he dances around for a second, pulls out a second gun, and pops one in his opponent's head, and dances some more.

Don't forget, as he's dancing, his opponent looks around, as if saying "What is up with this guy?" And then they get shot in the head.

OK, so I watched the storyline cinematic.

Isn't this plot the exact same as the plot for the Marvel DC Crossover just before they did the Amalgam comics?

Yes, but to be fair, it's also the backstory to Mortal Kombat. (One side declares Mortal Kombat, and the challenged can't refuse, and whoever can get ten-strait tournament wins, is allowed to invade the other side)

True, but the winner of mortal kombat for ten straight tournaments doesn't merge the two realms.

The winner just gets to control the two realms however he or she-chooses.

Thats how Edenia was lost to Shao Khan, the two realms didn't merge, they were just controlled by Khan.

It wasn't until MK: Annihilation rolled around that they decided to forgo the whole tournament thing, but even then I don't believe the realms actually merged(it's been awhile since I watched that abomination).

But for the Marvel Vs DC crossover, some unknown force the two kings of the universe ended up noticing each other, talked for a bit, had a few intergalactic beers and decided to merge both DC and Marvel earths together.

I remember in one issue they showed Superman and Ironman fly into earth's orbit and they saw two giant hands shoving the earths together. Freaked them both out, except for maybe Tony, since he probably was drunk at the time and has seen weirder @#$% than that.

The game is an interesting idea, but Superman must be too nerfed. I mean... how could a Sonya-calibered human even hurt him?

Well, the use of magic. Same way Scorpion hurt Superman in the trailer.

Magic may potentially hurt Superman, but he doesn't stop being Superman.

I don't know how any of these people from MK except maybe for Raiden even fight against Superman or Flash.

Either one could simply hit anyone else with a full speed running punch and obliterate them.

It boggles the mind.

Batman's special moves should be to point all of this out and thereby rend the universe asunder.

I think this game has potential, and I'd be very happy to beat you at it a few dozen times...

Haha, even if you hated the game and only played it once you could still find a way to kick my butt.

But Geekee1 would be toast!
