Batman suing WB and Nolan
Posted: Wed Nov 12, 2008 9:29 pmYou did not misread the subject. Batman is suing Warner Brothers and Christopher Nolan. It's the city of Batman in Turkey that is doing this because WB used the name Batman. Everything is in the article below.

I don't see how this will work, WB has a disclaimer in the movies and comics and they own copyrights to the Batman name. I don't think the Mayor is going to be helping his case by linking unsolved murders and higher female suicides to the movies, or the matter of why it's taken them close to 70 years and to take legal action.
I hope someone stops the lawsuit from going through as it's a waste of time and money. I think they just want a piece of the pie from the sales of "The Dark Knight".
