I've found that I really love chicken wings and am starting to rate where I eat them. Where do you go to get the best wings?
For me, it's these:
1. Mojo's Pub and Grill in Waunakee, WI
2. Quaker Steak and Lube/Best Wings USA in Middleton, WI
3. Buffalo Wild Wings in Madison, WI

I underestimated Buffalo Wild Wings, first time there, I ordered their hottest sauce.
I had one wing, and broke into tears from pain.
Then I let em sit in the fridge over-night and gobbled the suckers down.
Personally only a couple places here in FW I've found have good wings, a place called Wings and Ribs, and then B-dubs.
But I prefer to make my own, I get the big-ass bag of wings from sam's club, sans sauce. I then let them broil in a pot filled with Frank's hot sauce for awhile before I slap them in the oven to fully cook.
They are awesome.

Buffalo Wild Wings makes a mean wing, that is for sure!
Applebees aren't bad either, especially their honey-BBQ sauce!

BWW honestly sucks in my opinion. Their sauces are good but the wings themselves are very meh.
Out of all wings I've had, Ponderosa up here has the best ones. You will never find a chewy wing in the bunch. Every single one is tender, juicy and perfectly breaded. I don't know if they do them there or have a company do it for them, but damn those things are good.
Quaker Steak is decent.
Jim's Pizza Box in Huron has some damn good wings as well.

A place called... Wings.
http://www.greatwings.ca/They have three locations around Vancouver and almost 20 different flavors available. They do a cheap wing day on Sundays and you have to reserve hours ahead to get in.
Great quality, service, and taste.

Around me the only place that has awesome wings is Burger King then there is an American style diner that has some but they're basically the same as BK's just they cost twice as much.
But like Huego I prefer to make them myself, there's nothing over my rib and wing BBQ.

If I want wings around here I go to a place called Beef O'Brady's. Always good and usually good sized wings. Another good place is called Long Doggers, but they're more expensive. The best place if you're having a party is Frankie's Wings and Things. I love there's too. The party platters are huge. Those would be my top three places.

Ahem, well, I hate to brag, but... *I* do.
Unfortunately I can only do it at school, where they have a commercial deep-fryer I've basically marked as mine in an extremely pungent fashion. Wings I make for myself have none of that sweet nonsense, basically sour, hot and punch-you-in-the-face.

Wings I make for other people have barbecue sauce and whatnot.

Buffalo Wild Wings is alright, but their rep has gone downhill ever since they hosted Girls Gone Wild here.
We've got a local place called Coop DeVille that is really good.

Out here in PA ther best wings, by far, are as follows:
1. Ryan's Pub
2. Culinary Pizza Deliveries
3. Irene's Pizza (this place is a gem that no one knows about. I eat at least 20 wings there a week.)

There's a place from back home called "Brewbakers", and there wings are amazing. They have just the right amount of sauce and crunch to them. And they have many different flavors. There hot is HOOOOOT.

But all the Ponderosa's in my area have been shut down. They can't compete with the Golden Corral, which I don't get because that place has terrible food.
We went from having a Ponderosa in Kent, Streetsboro, and by Chapel Hill Mall and we have none left!

Well, Ponderosa is like going to Old Country Buffet, only everything was made with F grade ingrediants, and then sneezed upon several times.
Old Country Buffet > Golden Corral > Ponderosa
also, now I'm hankering chicken wings, sunuva bastich.
PPS: Old Country Buffet had some pretty good chicken wings as well.

Well at least Ponderosa's food tasted good. I can't even stand the smell of Golden Corral. I've never even heard of Old Country Buffet

Old Country Buffet is about the size of 3-4 Ponderosa's when it comes to the buffet. Then the food is even better.
I know they littered Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, not sure where else they ended up being.
But they were awesome.

There is an Old Country Buffet an Hour south of me in Bellingham, and from friends and an ex-roommate who worked at the same mall, I've been told to avoid the place.

All the Ponderosas closed down out here too. I loved their food and salad bar! Their steak sucked real bad though!
Old Country Buffet? There's a name from the past! All the ones out here changed their name to Hometown Buffet. I like that place too, when I can find one!
And another wings joint out here with wicked-mean-wings is a local chain of sports' bars called Kreiger's....They used to have the best bison-burger in the universe too, but they quit carrying bison meat (rat bastitches!).

Pyro,
Hometown Buffets are Old Country Buffets, or at least they are still owned by the same company. (Damn wikipedia, I checked after my post to see what they had about the chain)
Most likely they are using one of the names to offer lesser choices and/or different pricing.

Screw chicken wings. There over priced everywhere!!! Plus you get your hands all sticky and ****. Not a fan of finger foods that are messy.

Though lets be honest.
Name a restaurant where an employee who worked there long enough said they should go there, just because of how (insert reason here) it was?
The key to enjoying restaurants is ignorance.
I don't care if a chinese buffet had slaughtered a deer in the back and left it around long enough to begin decaying in order to make food.
I just want to sit down, have some cheap, awesome authentic chinese food made by authentic mexicans.

To Clarify Hugo,
My ex-roommate worked for Verizon in the same mall as the OCB, she had eaten there with bad experiences, which is why I've been told I'm better off eating in the food court or heading to the closest Jack in the Box than the OCB. Had she been working for the OCB, Than I likely would have fallen into the whole "Cheap meal cause BLANK works there" situation when common sense gets ignored for cheap eats.
And to Coughler, no offense, sorry but I pity you, some of the best foods are ones that are a mess to eat. I don't know your history for why you might be opposed to foods like this but you really are missing out. And no not all places are overpriced.
That said, as a general observation as a Canadian when traveling in the States, most fast food places are cheap but any sit down restaurant higher than a Denny's quality, you guys get hosed. Or is there a reason why a meal generally about 12-15 bucks here (with a weaker dollar) is 3-10 bucks more? (Not including taxes and tip?
