OK this thread used to be a "please help me remember the title of a cartoon from my childhood as I'm to stupid to remember it" topic. :P

But now cos of an idea by our Merc and the awesomeness that are my powers of editing stuff that sucks into something completely epic and awesome - this is now our very own cartoons other then transformers discussion thread!

In this brand new and stunning thread we will take a breath taking and nostalgic look back in time as cartoons weren't just filled with big boobed freaking huge eyes wearing and overreacting anime characters. But from the past were they were full of western style overreacting cartoon characters.
So everything that is so old that other might not remember them goes. So anything that's from the early 00's to back to the 90's 80's and so on.

Enjoy this awesome nostalgic thread that is filled with history that cares a lot more then the slag you learn at school! :D

No no it wasn't either of them. Yes it was an American cartoon. There was some black liquid in the meteor that made you evil or something, yes at that time I regarded that stuff as a Venom KO.
I also seem to remember that his dad was the bad guy, or was it is uncle or both? :?

The bad guy had hoards of what seemed to be zombie like cannon fodder and I mean canon fodder they were killed so many times.
I don't know if they were zombies, they just wear body armour and helmets and don't seem to be human.

I remember in the opening you see a lot of computer animated plains and letting it look like footage from WW2.

His father had a twin brother and they fought over his mother.
The main character was in his 20 or 30 but I guess 30's.

There are no black ooze meteors, zombies, cg animation, native Americans, or evil uncles in Tekkaman.

Also it's not an American cartoon.

Instead of this thread being locked can we make it about awesome cartoons from our childhoods that other people may or may not remember?

Dead Metal wrote:Damn Roswell Conspiracies was awesome.

From what I remember of it the show was pretty damn epic. Now after watching that clip (having not seen it in years) I have to say that Cartoon Network's The Saturdays reminds me of Roswell Conspiracies a lot, more then it did of Johnny Quest when I first saw it. And to be honest I was convinced that The Saturdays was just Johnny Quest with monsters (that's not a bad thing). It's a hybrid of two awesome cartoons and I approve of it.

the Saturdays? Must look into that.
Yea Roswell Conspiracies was really awesome I wanted to start a thread about it, before you joined, but nobody cared about it.
I just know that as I watched it as a kid I had nightmares from it but I still couldn't stop watching it.
damn that damn scene of the Al chubacabra getting killed and releasing all it's aggressive and damn scary nature was just so scary it's still burned into my memory.

Proceeding with renaming the thread....

No but reading about it on wikipedia lets it sound cool.

I'm currently watching this as I've never heard of it before but it sounds awesome, the opening song is an instant ear worm.

Merc, what you're saying makes perfect sense!
Damn smoking drinking biker mice that would be awesome!

I will always remember TRA Johnny Quest for the evil version of Stephen Hawking.

I also really liked Jessie... I have a horrible habit of crushing over cartoon characters.

Didn't the new Biker Mice cartoon start last year?
I think it's pretty good not as awesome as I'd like but it's nice that it' direct continuation of the first show.

*raises eyebrow*

I'm not original sin...

I didn't know that Biker Mice got a new show. I'll have to dl it. I remember all of those shows and they were awesome. Killer Tomatoes owned because it has the only episode in the history of cartoons where the villains won!
