it was on in the 90s and it featured a group of humans called biotechs who could control vehicles with helmets. they fought a group of cyborgs who referred to the force that made them as the matrix.

Man I can't stand not remembering old shows I watched a lot as a kid... :MAD:

again, sorry. The only characters I can recall were one of the villains names was frostbite and the good guys eventually got their hands on a cyber-dog named Kaliban.

FINALLY! after going through retro junk and wikipedia I found the name of that show. It was called Vor-Tech: Undercover Conversion Squad, it's been 10 or so but the memories just started coming back to me.
