For those outside the States, (Many of us) the message is to never forget the day a giant bomb was dropped.

The bomb being Eddie Murphy's The Adventures of Pluto Nash.

in a related story.

Never Forget 1-31-07

Cloverfield was 1-18-08. 1-31-07 was the day the city of Boston arrested two guys for putting up what were essentially lite-brights with the Mooninites on them as viral marketing for the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. People thought they were bombs.

In short, the City of Boston went nuts because they thought Lite-Brights were bombs.

#-o Seriously that's just retarded. What's next G1 Shockwave being mistaken for a real gun?
