I haven't really followed DC all that much, but one of my favorite story arcs was The Death of Superman. The Superboy that emerged from that was awesome, at least I thought so. What happened to him?

Is there any Superboy now or is there only Superboy Prime? Wait, he's Superman Prime now isn't he?

Yep, and he was last seen in the 31st Century, right before all the Final Crisis sillyness started.

The last thing I read from DC was the Infinite Crisis. Superboy Prime was pretty awesome in that, that's where my confusion over Superboy began really. Why did Superboy stop wearing the sunglasses and leather jacket and stuff? Did they ever say?

The 90's ended, sunglasses were out and emo's were in?

The lack of costume is still unsettling though. A t shirt wit the Superman logo? Come on, any one could don that

I think the ability to withstand gunfire would settle the question of whether he's an imposter.

Man...now Superboy Prime is definitely my favorite "Superman Family" character.

nyah, they've built him up into this big unstoppable force, and given him a emo attitude about it.

And of course Supes has decided that the only way to stop him is to "redeem" him. ugh ... no.

At some point, Kon El aka Conner Kent wore his 90s costume sans leather jacket & sunglasses.



Personally, I like the t-shirt & jeans look. Geoff Johns and Mike McKone's Teen Titans revamp was amazing and his new look fit that tone.

Oh I like that a lot.

I dunno though, the t shirt and jeans is just boring to me. Just doesn't really "pop" when I see it

Also, Geoff Johns explained that Conner subliminally picked a black t-shirt with the red logo due to his Death of Superman connection/origin.

Kon-el was killed by Superman-boy Prime (my nickname for him, since he's emotionally immature,) I would cry over his death, but I just like prime too much. I mean, his only angsty monologues were when he was ripping teen titans in half.

Not this week....

I have a feeling that something in part 3 would ruin the events of LOSH 50 so they are waiting for that to release, then we'll see L3W 3 to 5 rushed over a few weeks.

L3W is already a disappointment for me. I'm glad to see the post zero-hour Legion again, but I'd rather see the Glorithverse Adult Legion again than the retreaded adult legion from the recent superman books.

Superboy was killed over a lawsuit with the original creators of superman over rights to the superboy name, thats why superboy prime is now superman prime, but visually is the same.

Yes there is a current lawsuit, but really his death was just storyline.

Conner could just as easily had a name change if they weren't going to kill him.

I beleive they had to kill him off in name and more or less character.

I think he has returned as the kryptonian version of nightwing now or something.
