Looked really cool and really lame all at the same time.

Green goop on the Eiffel Tower looked pretty cheesy, but was pulled off okay. Something about those two guys jumping around with explosions all over the place didn’t seem right.

Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow looked pretty cool fighting though, and I like the Baroness.

HELL YEAH!

I still wish they'd show what Cobra Commander looks like, but I guess I'll have to wait until August for that

This is kinda sad that there are only 4 people that are talking about this right now, considering that the majority of us Transfans are joe fans too.

I was less than thrilled originally. But now that I see Doctor Who in action as Destro I'm a happy man. And Even though Sienna Miller is padded out the wazoo for her role, she looks like Baroness.

Yea, the Eiffel Tower falling down is unrealistic, but that's what GI Joe was all about. I'm looking forward to this with great anticipation.

I think Im gonna have to take this movie in stride the same way I did Transformers.

It'd be really hard to make a film true to the original Joe series, as the weapons and vehicles they used were a bit far fetched for reality.....oh wait, but they super jumped at least three times in a 12 second spot......

Im gonna go see it regardless, its GI JOE for petes sake, I have too.

I thought Cobra Commander was going to be a cameo in the movie or not in it at all. :???:

Didn't they change that because everyone spazzed out when they said it?

This is from wiki about CC's role in the movie

Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra Commander / The Doctor: A scientist who develops weapons for Destro. He is also working on mind control.[5][10] Levitt wore a mask – which was redesigned from the comics because the crew found it too reminiscent of the Ku Klux Klan – and prosthetic makeup underneath.[23][24] Upon seeing concept art of the role he was being offered, Levitt signed on because; "I was like, 'I get to be that? You're going to make that [makeup] in real life and stick it on me? Cool. Let me do it.' That's a once-in-lifetime opportunity."[25] Levitt is a friend of Tatum and they co-starred in Stop-Loss and Havoc. His casting provided extra incentive for Tatum to join the film.[13] Levitt described his vocal performance as being half reminiscent of Chris Latta's voice for the 1980s cartoon, but also half his own ideas, because he felt rendering it fully would sound ridiculous

They got Stephen Sommers. Over the Top doesn't even begin to describe his movies.

This movie looks fantastic. Melting the Eiffel Tower? I'd be disappointed of Cobra didn't melt a major building.

Yeah I would have been disappointed as well, but would have been placated if they decided to take over the world through one of these other brilliant ways.

- Carving Chris Eccleston's face into the moon with a laser
- Inventing a device that burns the world's(i.e. Americas) money so they can force the world(again, America) into using their own currency.
- Starting a chain of fast food restaurants with mind-controlling burgers. "Cobra-La Burgers"

I've seen what CC/The Doctor looks like. A few days ago on hisstank.com, there were card bio's leaked of various characters but were taken down at Hasbro's request.

If you're expecting either a hood, faceplate, or anything that would be shown in the early 1990's, you're going to be disappointed.

His mask only covers the lower portion of his face going from his nose and down to where the neck meets the shoudlers. His left eye is also replaced with a blue optical device. He still has his hair, which is visible and he casts a menacing gaze. The upper portion of his face makes him look like he's been through hell. Whether or not he applies additional concealments is yet to be seen.

I was not impressed by the trailer. I'm holding out hope that this movie does not turn out to be as bad as I think it will be.

I think the stuff that is covering the tower is supposed to be something that makes metal weak and cause landmarks to fall but I'm just guessing at this stage but what I saw in trailer looks cool and you will be able to see it on big screen on friday the 13th in front of the new friday the 13th movie along with the transformers trailer.

I don't know. At first I was wicked excited, then I was wicked indifferent. Same thinq with the Transformers trailer. I'm withholding judgement until I see the movies....or at least I'm going to try to.
