You've probably noticed that Marvel is really trying to push The Merc with a Mouth. His new series has sold rather well, he's getting a part in the new X-force/Cable crossover, and he's getting a new miniseries by the writer of Moon Knight. Plus there is the four issue crossover with the Thunderbolts comming up. And the new Wolverine movie, with Ryan Renolds. But wait, there's more! After Deadpool's well recived apperance in Hulk vs., Marvel has indicated that they are looking at finding more places for animated Deadpool to appear.
But prehaps the best news is that Joe Kelly, prehaps the essintial Deadpool writer, who is currently one of the writers on Spiderman, has indicated that he is looking at having Deadpool appear in Spidey.

Awesome.
Now they just need to forget about slapping Deadpool in Spider-man, and just give us a Deadpool Animated movie.

Sweeeeettttt, we definetly need to see Deadpool on the silver screen, the Wolverine movie is a start, but Ryan Reynolds? Really? I suppose it could be worse, like Dane Cook. Then I'd hire the merc with a mouth to kill myself.
I think they could have gotten someone much better than Reynolds for Deadpool. Hell, I'd like Jason Strathan over him.
Aslo, favorite Deadpool line from Marvel Alliance: Now I'm better at doing whatever it is Wolverine does!

Yeah, I'll get anything with Deadpool aswell. Right now i'm trying to get as much as I can of Joe Kelly's run. I loved Cable and Deadpool, and the new series aint half bad, but Kelly's stuff is hilarious. I mean, the whole fight with the Hulk was just genius.
And Deadpool was awesome in Legends 2 and ultimate Alliance. I'll be pissed if he doesn't appear in Ultimate Alliance 2.

Ryan Reynolds is the perfect live action Deadpool.
He's musclebound as hell, which we first saw in that god awful Blade 3.
His humor, when he really gets going is beyond random and hilarious.
He loves Deadpool and has been in talks to play Deadpool for years now, he and the director have even held off until they get okay'd for a Rated R movie.
Just slap some makeup on his face that makes him look like Freddy and he's good to go.

I just don't see Reynolds as Deadpool. I'm not sure why. I know he a trim physique (also a la god awful Blade 3), and he can be hilarious. I just don't see him offing people. I guess that horrible remake of the Amityville horror is stuck in my head.
I'm still trying to think who would be better, this might take same time...
I remember X-2, using the code for Deadpool and fighting Deadpool with him was great! He damn well better be in Alliance 2.
I also love in Alliance during the credits when the voie actors screw around:
A haiku from deadpool:
I hate Brocolli
I think it stinks
Why is it not meat
Classic DP
"Let's go punch somebody."

Okay, more info. Potential spoilers for the new Wolverine movie, so read the following at your own risk.
http://www.deadpoolbugle.com/, where I get all my updates of our favorite wacky merc, has posted a photo of a Superhero Squad (the marvel equivlent of robot heroes)Movie Deadpool. Wade has no shirt, a pair of red pants, and what look like bandages around his arms. additionally, he has a single blade protruding from each arm. While I can deal with it if he's still the same wiseass we all know and love, alot of people are kind, uh, upset, to put it mildly.
End any and all spoilery bits from me for the moment

Deadpool is one of those characters that when he is written very well he totaly rocks but when he is written real badly he sucks. I have read anything since the orginal Deadpool series and after #11 (the one where DP and that blind old woman he held hostage were blown back through time into and wind up in a story from an old issue The Amazing Spider-man and the creative team took Spider-Man and Anut May out of the story and replaced them with Deadpool and the old woman) to me the series fell apart when they tried to make Deadpool a more tradional super-hero I had #12-25 in my read pile for years and when I did read them they bored me to death.
I never was a big fan of Cable so I never bothered with Cable/Deadpool.
I like Deadpool as a smart-ass merc with a mouth not as a superhero out to save the world.

Part of the idea is that he tries to be a hero, and fails miserably. And it wasn't long before he went back to being a merc, who had a bit of a consience.
