Milk, it was awesome!
Posted: Fri Apr 10, 2009 7:38 amI just saw Milk, and damn was that a great movie! Sean Penn was freaking amazing as Harvey Milk, hr definitely deserved his Oscar. Hell Milk should have won over Slumdog. I actually started to cry at one point, and I don't normally do that ether with movies. If you don't know who Harvey Milk is, I'll tell you. He was the first openly gay man to hold a major political office in the US. He was assassinated while in office along with the mayor of San Fransisco in 1978.In addition to showcasing Milk's carrier, the movie chronicles the gay rights movement in the 70's. The acting was superb and the soundtrack was good to. If you haven't seen it, then see it now. I give it a solid grade of: A.
