I don't know, but I'd sure like to find out, too. My laptop at home has been acting up all week.

Or dont you mean reboot it?.

Or dont you mean reboot it?.well if so, you need to clean up all of your computer files. If so then you need to isert your reboot cd in CD Rom, and then in my computer, click on the disk in the driv, and hit run, or the cd icon, that should do it, then follow the instructions....

I'm going to assume you want to reformat your whole computer, erase everything and start over again clean.

If you're using XP, which you should be, just put the disc in the drive and restart.

It should boot from the CD, prompting you to then reformat. At this point you can partition your drive if you want, which is sometimes a good idea.

This will erase everything on your drive or the partition you do it to, so make sure you back up appropriately.

If it doesn't boot from the CD, and gives you this "Can't boot from CD Code-4" ****, join the club of not knowing what to do next. I'll get back to you on that one myself later.
