Raising money for cancer research

I have reached a point in life where I have started working on charitable deeds for others. My latest endeavor is to help the American Cancer Society raise money to support cancer research grants. Some of the money raised also goes towards improving existing care and comfort for cancer patients.

I am trying to raise as much money as possible in a local Relay for Life fundraising event. It works similar to all those Walk or Jog-A-Thons you may have done in school. 100% of the money I raise goes to the American Cancer Society. This may be a longshot posting on a forum such as this, but I figured it is worth the time. If you are willing to donate anything from $5 on up, please visit my Relay for Life donation site at:

:APPLAUSE: Thank you! Cancer is such a terrible disease. It took the life of countless people, including my grandma and Eric Carr. Such a great cause!

:APPLAUSE: I think this is a wonderful plan! It's been too long since I've actually seen someone wanting to do something other than sit on their backsides about cancer or any other major disease!

I really do hope there will be a lot of people participating in this, it'll be great for the common human to pull together and help out those who are needlessly suffering :APPLAUSE:
