I am greatly surprised to see a few roaming around Albuquerque at our dealerships, but it just proves GM has no clue what they're doing anymore.

I wouldn't call a minor issue like that a basis for saying GM doesn't know what they are doing. And seriously, every new car always gets a free oil change at the dealership, so no one should be inconvenienced by this besided the ONE PERSON that has been affected by this so far. Actually, it's pretty amazing they found the problem so quick.

Recalls aren't that big of a deal. My mother's Avenger was recalled 4 or 5 times over the course of 6 months when she first bought it.

Getter is right though, for GM to find the problem this fast is fairly amazing.

btw, The Camaro looks great in person =P~ one of my local dealers have some RS models in stock

So that's why Bumblebee can't talk!

Seriously, it is just one case. It happens. I remember a few years ago Ford had to recall a lot of Explorers for a multitude of reasons. All automakers screw up now and then.

For a brand new car design, this isn't surprising. I am pleasantly surprised that GM caught it so quickly.

Oh yeah, of course, those inconvenient rollover accidents. People were only experiencing minor symptoms of death. No biggie.

Almost every vehicle on the road has something going on that the manufacturer wants to deal with. If a car doesn't have a Recall, then it very likely has a Special Policy that needs to be addressed by a dealer. I agree that it is impressive that GM got a handle on this problem so quickly. Good for them. Most likely it will not be the last issue though, since it is a brand new design, but that is normal in the industry.

Oh dear. As if GM have enough bad things on thier plates right now. The Camaros were built and tested in Australia fyi. We are meant to be getting them as Holden Camaros in 2011. Might become a Holden fan just to get one :)
