He came onto our sreens with Help Wanted, and ten years later hes still going good, will he beat Transformers 25 years plus? well I love him so he could, and many others around the world still do. His merchandise from plush toys to lunch boxes, DVD boxes to numorous games. He is the one and only Spongebob Squarepants, Started in 1999 on 1st of May, he offically became 10 years old nine days ago, and maybe on some sites there may have been celebration, but there may need be another on seibertron. I come forward to Hasbro and say we should have "Transformers Spongebob Crossovers" think of the attarction of fans around the globe, this would shure trample over the SWTF line.

For some strange reason he was born in 1986 on his profile? So as 23 years old are we gonna be like him in another 23 or 25 years? You decide

When I turned 7, never in the world that id I thnink of a world wide figure know as spongebob would have been released on our TV sreens, what amzing things happened on you B'day? 8)

No, I'm not. I'm just saying, check 15 more years from now, and see if Spongebob stuff is flying off the shelves like TFs. One thing Spongebob may have on TFs is that his movie came out a bit earlier, if you don't count the 1986 TF:TM.

I have a slight feeling he could still be around, unlike matchbox or majorette he has a storlyline and a Bumble bee Funny accent! He made it 10 years, what stops him at 15? I have a feeling like you that he wont reach a 25yrs aniversary either due to no one like him nor his laugh and th fact of popularity and the fact new and better things.

SpongeBob is for 5 year olds, though I never saw Ren and Stimpy, so I don't know about a comparison.

The difference between SpongeBob and Transformers is you don't see people in their 20s and 30s still into SpongeBob, so the only way he will live to 25 is if the aforementioned 5 year olds are still interested. Hell, Barbie is still around...
