Just got back from watching it here in sunny Ontario Canada. I was a little passive about seeing it, but man am I glad I did. Very well done. There is one part in the movie I won't talk about but G.M. Chrystler is it epic!

The movie was good, but it's only an appetizer for ROTF!.

Who's seen it and who wants to see it? Post away bitches!

I'm probably gonna see it, but I got pissed at the director, because about a month ago McG said in Empire magazine that Terminator Salvation will be much better than Transformers and will beat it at the box office. For this reason of arrogance, I will not pay a damn dime to see Terminator, instead I'll just use my network of contacts and acquire a free viewing.

Also, I heard the ending sucked. Is that true?

No the ending was alright. Just left a huge opening for another. But everyone saw that coming.

As for better then Transformers will be... no. It was good, but it lacks what the public really wants. Giant TRANSFORMING PHucking Robots

Wasn't one of the Terminators, the Harvester, I believe, a rip-off of Transformers? As in it is huge and it Transforms?

It's a part of a larger transport, but doesnt really transform.

No, because then Transformers is a rip-off of Gobots, Macross, and Gundam.

Gobots have nothing to do with Terminator. Besides, if McG were to rip off something, I doubt it would be Gobots.

What he is saying is that there just because something changes form it is not a ripoff of transformers

And Transformers have nothing to do with Terminator. What I mean is that just because something has a giant transforming Robot, doesn't mean it's ripping off Transformers.

Except for Transmorphers, but we knew that already.

I will say one thing for sure, is that in the movie he uses his Batman voice and everyone in the theater laughed at it.

If no one has seen it yet go to IGN.com and check out Transforminators. Hilarious and well done.

Just got back from it and all I can say is Holy Sh*t it was outstanding!

The only tiniest tid-bit I think should be different is instead of Kyle saying his classic line of "Come with me if you want to live." when he did, it should have been John who says it to him when they first meet face-to-face.

Truly Superb sci-fi action film!!!

It wasn't perfect... but it was fun, and awesome.

I really enjoyed the movie, and it was a HELL of a lot better than T3.

I'm a huge Terminator fan, T2 is my fav movie of all time, and I own the first 3 on DVD, and also am an avid fan of "Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles". I called into work yesturday to go see it cuz I just couldn't wait!

spoilers:

When it comes to a few minor gripes of mine, I would of made the movie a little bit longer, and added a little more depth to the Characters. Also the little mute girl was really a pointless and worthless character, me and my wife were both wondering what she had to do with anything. My other gripe is isn't Cyberdine systems supposed to be non-existant? I thought Cyberdyne was destroyed in T2, and what was left of their research was donated to the military, thus creating skynet, but delaying judgement day and cutting skynet's ties with Cyberdyne, ie for example Arnolds model is now just a T-800 model 101 while he used to be a CSM T-800 model 101. So I wonder how exactly Marcus Wright donated his body to a company in 2003, that was "blown out of business" in 1995.

A continuity error, but forgivable in comparison to the producers and directors complete **** UP of John Connor's age in T3! Its a minor gripe if any gripe. Really other than that I have no gripes. I'm not sure why some of the Critics are basically saying the End was horrible. The end worked well, and really summed up Marcus Wright's character. A guy who was sentenced to death, got a second change and died a hero. Works fine with me.

Speaking of Marcus I gotta point the finger at the advertising and the merchandise for the movie, for spoiling what could of been an "awesome suprise". Me like about everyone else who saw the movie, new he was part machine before the movie even started. The revalation could of been a big shock had the trailer and toylines not given it away.

Other than that though I loved the movie. Never a dull moment, lots of action, great portrayal of the war, a movie I wanted to see made forever! Also Arnold's cameo was awesome, and I loved how strong and bad ass the T-800 seemed in comparison to the T-600. But I do want to know why in T2 Molton steel Melted the T-800, but in TS the Molton steel just hardens and thickens upon a t-800. Doesn't make sense!

THe Cyberdyne computer plant was blown up on 1995, but the San Fransisco place was there genetic research division. Quite a few big companies have multiple locations for differing types of work. And the newspapers clips that marcus sees does show the air force picking up on the research as well.

Also the molten steel didnt melt the t800 right away because the minute it comes out of the canister it begins to cool, then john hit the vent pipe that rapidly cooled it, so not enough time to melt it.

It t2 the t800 goes into the pit and even when submerged it takes a good 10 seconds or so for it to shut him down and that is with the pit at a constant temp.

I saw it last night, and I have to say that was the biggest turd I have seen since Paul Blart.

Terminator Salvation is HORRIBLE.

The only 2 good parts in it were when Marcus and Kyle are running from the MotoTerminators, that truck reminded me of Road Warrior. And the end when John and Marcus are fighting the T-800. That was cool. I heard that the ending sucked, I disagree. The entire story was horrible. After it was over, I went into Star Trek and saw it again just so I can say I had a good time at the movies.

This movie was a giant waste of time.
