Someone might've been murdered where I live

I really can't say. Me and my mom were making delicious chicken quesadillas, and I heard this BANG come from down the street.

Part of me said "Oh, ****, someone's dead" and another said "Damn teenagers, knockin' over trashcans."

Then I hear police sirens, and see red and blue flashes.

Me and my mom go outside to see what's up, and someone is taken out of a house down the street, on a stretcher.

Someone might've died last night.

I'll watch the local news tonight to get more info.

So did you know the people that lived at that house?

Should take a trip to Lorain man. About 3 people are shot/killed every week.

I think so. A guy named Jimmy, a college kid.

Either that, or it was the people next door, who I don't know.

You ain't kiddin'. The police are involved in something, every night.

Hell, two weeks ago, my cousins were busted at a party for underage drinking. Resisted arrest, and my one cousin...she actually kicked the cop in thigh. (she missed, you know what she was aiming for)

The only real part of Lorain that I know is Laurel Rd, which seems relatively quiet...but beyond those confines...I hear it gets 100 times worse.

And sorry Shadow...I hope the person pulls through, and I hope it wasn't somebody you know...it's hard when it's personal.

Oh, man. That might have been scary to a gun-shot.

I know how you feel, Shadowman. I went to stay with my grandfather for the weekend when I was a kid and when I woke up the next morning there were cop cars all over the neighborhood.

Turns out that the guy that lived right behind my grandfather chopped up his wife and two kids with a machete and hightailed it to Hawaii. He made America's Most Wanted for a while and then got caught.

Consider me in the "two hundred feet from a murder" club. A few years back, when I was in high school, I was getting ready to go to a football game (mandatory for marching band members) when we heard a series of loud bangs. Mostly we thought it was just fireworks (which are legal in my city) until we heard the loud thump and crunch afterwards. Turns out there had been a car-to-car shooting and the driver of one car was dead at the wheel.

And my fellow members wondered why I didn't care that one of the players hurt his foot that night? sheesh.

That's crazy! I'm glad to say that I've been fortunate to have not been in close proximity to murder!

I checked FoxNews, CBS News, and WoodTV (A local news thing) fo stuff in my area, but no one has anything to say.

A gunshot, then police, fire trucks, and an ambulance all come. A crime was committed, I know that. Maybe someone's meth lab blew up. Just speculation.

Try Youngstown or Akron anymore dude.

Its a freaking war zone.

A few cops have been killed lately, and there are constantly news reports about people getting shot.

They are worse then Cleveland now

It takes a lot to get the news crews to show up. Murder just isn't very unusual anymore. But when a drunk driver crashed through my friend's fence and his car ended up levitating by it's bumpers over his pool, THAT was one the news.
